Seishun Buta Yarou wa Bunny Girl Senpai no Yume wo Minai, also known as “Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai“, is an anime that deals with the rare and unexplained puberty syndrome. In this world, this rare disease is considered a myth, as its unearthly symptoms make it difficult to recognize as a legitimate phenomenon. However, the protagonist, Sakuta Azusagawa, a high school student, knows from personal experience that this syndrome is very real and occurs frequently in his own high school.

The story centers on Mai Sakurajima, a third-year high school student who used to be a famous child actress, but has suspended her promising career for reasons unknown to the public. Mai has an aloof attitude that makes her widely known throughout the school, but no one dares to interact with her, until Sakuta sees her wandering around the library dressed in a flashy bunny costume. Curiously, no one seems to notice her presence, leading Sakuta to discover that Mai is also another victim of the enigmatic Puberty Syndrome.

As the plot progresses, Sakuta embarks on a mission to help Mai overcome the challenges and difficulties imposed on her by this mysterious disease. In the process, his actions bring him into contact with other girls who are also affected by this elusive syndrome. Together, they will try to unravel the secrets behind this supernatural phenomenon and find a way to overcome it.
