This time, more information was revealed about the new anime of the franchise titled Seishun Buta Yarou wa Santa Claus no Yume wo Minai (Rascal Does Not Dream of Santa Claus), which will cover the long-awaited “University Arc”. Among the outstanding surprises, Miniskirt Santa, a new character that will make his debut in this anime, was presented for the first time through a visual image.

Additionally, the official website of the anime Seishun Buta Yarou wa Santa Claus no Yume wo Minai announced that voice actress Reina Ueda, known for voicing characters such as Kanao Tsuyuri in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, Lemon Irvine in Mashle and Ruri in Dr. Stone, will be the interpreter of Miniskirt Santa.
The production team for Seishun Buta Yarou wa Santa Claus no Yume wo Minai is as follows: Soichi Masui will be in charge of directing the anime. The renowned animation studio CloverWorks is in charge of production. Masahiro Yokotani will be in charge of the series’ composition. Satomi Tamura will be in charge of character design and composer Fox Capture Plan is in charge of composing the anime’s soundtrack.
One thing to note is that the anime Seishun Buta Yarou wa Santa Claus no Yume wo Minai is scheduled to premiere in Japan in the course of the year 2025. Previously, KADOKAWA confirmed that this anime project will have an anime series format.

The light novel Seishun Buta Yarou wa Bunny Girl Senpai no Yume wo Minai, also known as Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai in the West, is a light novel that is written by Hajime Kamoshida and illustrated by Keiji Mizoguchi. The work began publication at ASCII Media Works‘ Dengeki Bunko imprint since April 2014.
The work has a manga adaptation that began its publication in January 2016 through Dengeki G’s Comic magazine of ASCII Media Works (Kadokawa). The anime Seishun Buta Yarou wa Bunny Girl Senpai no Yume wo Minai has the following description: The story deals with the strange and unexplained puberty syndrome. In this world, this rare disease is considered a myth, as its unearthly symptoms make it difficult to recognize as a legitimate phenomenon. However, the protagonist, Sakuta Azusagawa, a high school student, knows from personal experience that this syndrome is very real and occurs frequently in his own high school.
The story centers on Mai Sakurajima, a third-year high school student who used to be a famous child actress, but has suspended her promising career for reasons unknown to the public. Mai has an aloof attitude that makes her widely known throughout the school, but no one dares to interact with her, until Sakuta sees her wandering around the library dressed in a flashy bunny costume. Curiously, no one seems to notice her presence, leading Sakuta to discover that Mai is also another victim of the enigmatic Puberty Syndrome.
As the plot progresses, Sakuta embarks on a mission to help Mai overcome the challenges and difficulties imposed on her by this mysterious disease.
