The anime series based on Aki Hamaji’s manga, Bocchi the Rock! continues to keep fans excited for the upcoming release of its second compilation movie, titled Bocchi the Rock! Re Re. On this occasion, the anime’s official media have shared a new promotional video of the new compilation movie, which also features a preview of the film’s main theme song, “Seiza ni Naretara“, performed by the Kessoku Band, the main group of the “Bocchi the Rock!” anime.

It is important to mention that with the release of the film in Japan, the second Bocchi the Rock! will give a special first-come, first-served gift for viewers, this amazing gift will be a manga drawn by Aki Hamaji titled Bocchi the Rock! Epigraph 2 which will be distributed on the day of the film’s release.

It should be noted that the second compilation movie of the anime Bocchi the Rock! is scheduled to be released in theaters in Japan on August 9 this year. Also, we should not forget that the first compilation movie of this anime series “Bocchi the Rock! Re” had great achievements.

The first anime movie, “Bocchi the Rock! Re“, sold 140,000 tickets and grossed 218,470,888 yen, which would be approximately 1.38 million dollars in its first three days. This first film also had an opening theme, which was titled “Tsukinami ni Kagayaki“, this theme was also sung by Kessoku Band where Ai Higuchi wrote the lyrics, Otoha composed the song and Ritsuo Mitsui made the arrangements.

The manga Bocchi the Rock! began its publication in the magazine Manga Time Kirara, which belongs to the Houbunsha publishing house since December 2017 and has 6 compilation volumes released at present. The work written and illustrated by Aki Hamaji was well received by readers, getting the publisher Houbunsha to announce in early 2021 an anime adaptation for the manga.

The anime adaptation of the manga “Bocchi the Rock!” premiered on television in Japan on October 8, 2022, consisting of a total of 12 episodes. This series was produced by the renowned CloverWorks animation studio and was legally simulcast in America through the Crunchyroll platform.

A twist of fate leads her to meet Nijika Ijichi, a charismatic drummer who invites her to join the Kessoku Band. This meeting will mark the beginning of an incredible musical adventure for Bocchi. With the desire to overcome her fears and find her place on stage, Bocchi will embark on a journey full of emotions, challenges and learning.

As Bocchi immerses herself in the world of music, she meets Ryou Yamada, a talented bassist, and together they form a special bond through their shared love of music. Despite the obstacles and difficulties they face, the girls support each other and find the strength to overcome their insecurities as they pursue their dream of playing live.
