The interesting action and comedy series Sakamoto Days has finally shared with us an estimated date for the release of its adaptation to anime series, a fact that has excited its fans and is that the respective official media of the anime has released the news that this adaptation will arrive to the red streaming platform Netflix next January 2025.

The animation studio TMS Entertainment is in charge of the adaptation of Sakamoto Days with Masaki Watanabe at the helm as the director. Sakamoto Days anime staff members include Yo Moriyama as the character designer, Yuto Suzuki in charge of the script and Taku Kishimoto in charge of the series composition.
Voice cast members include well-known voice actors such as Tomokazu Sugita, known for his roles as Gintoki Sakata in Gintama, Gyomei Himejima in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba and Escanor in The Seven Deadly Sins.

Sakamoto Days action series is a manga series written and illustrated by Yuto Suzuki, saw the light of day thanks to Shūeisha’s Shōnen Jump magazine on November 21, 2020. Viz Media and MANGA Plus are publishing the manga in English digitally. The reception of the manga was quite good offering us an unconventional action series and thanks to this it is expected to be adapted into an anime series to be produced by the animation studio TMS Entertainment for January 2025.
Sakamoto Days tells the story of a man named Taro Sakamoto, an assassin whose reputation is so well known that every assassin or hitman in the underworld fears him and now Taro is a legend. But this lifestyle is not something that lasts forever and for Taro there came a time when he said goodbye, as this legendary assassin retired from this life after falling in love with a lovely woman who worked in a convenience store.
Currently, Taro lives a quiet life with his wife, his daughter and his modest business, but his bad reputation still precedes him and now our protagonist completely changed by the quiet life he led will have to face an endless number of criminals who want to put an end to his peaceful days. Sakamoto Days promises a refreshing, fun and unconventional story.
