A report made on the “X” platform account of Tarou Hitsuji, author of “Rokudenashi Majutsu Koushi to Akashic Records” (Akashic Records of Bastard Magical Instructor), has confirmed that the main story of the original light novel will come to an end with the release of volume #24. The light novel ‘Rokudenashi Majutsu Koushi to Akashic Records‘, also known as ‘Akashic Records of Bastard Magical Instructor‘ in the West, is written by Tarou Hitsuji and illustrated by Kurone Mishima. It began publication under Fujimi Shobo’s Fujimi Fantasia Bunko publishing imprint in July 2014.
The work also has a manga adaptation by Aosa Tsunemi, which began publication in Kadokawa Shoten publisher Kadokawa Shoten’s Shonen Ace magazine in March 2015.
On April 4, 2017, the light novel Rokudenashi Majutsu Koushi to Akashic Records made its anime debut with an adaptation that consisted of a total of 12 episodes. Animation studio Liden Films led the production of the series, under the skillful direction of Minato Kazuto.
