Rick and Morty is one of the animated series that have been around the world for its extravagant plot, its science fiction theme mixed with a good dose of comedy present in many of its scenes, and such has been its fame, that some time ago it was announced that it will have an anime adaptation. Now on Thursday of this week through their social networks not only a new trailer was published where we can see a little more of what we will soon witness, the publication in turn was accompanied by a release date agreed for August this year through Max’s streaming platform.
Rick and Morty sets its premiere date
The announcement in question was made on July 7 of this year 2024 through the official social networks of Rick and Morty, such as Twitter/X, which you can see through the following link. The new trailer in question shows a collage of scenes in which we see the main cast in comic and dazzling situations touring different planets, interacting with its inhabitants in the unique way to which we are accustomed to the protagonist duo and also present the new scientific gadgets present in the series. This accompanied by the characteristic anime style, which gives it an iconic new visual aspect, that more than one will love.
Likewise, the Rick and Morty trailer is accompanied by the premiere date, which will be August 15 at midnight, and after its premiere on the 16th, it will arrive to Max’s platform. As for the studio behind the new animation, it is Telecom Animation Film (“Kami no Tou”, “Orange”, “Astro Note”).
The voice actors for the English version of the Rick and Morty anime are: Joe Daniels as Rick, Gabriel Regojo as Morty, Donna Bella Litton as Summer, Joe Daniels as Jerry and Patricia Duran as Beth. In the case of the Japanese dub, it stars the following voice actors: Youhei Tadano as Rick, Keisuke Chiba as Morty, Akiha Matsui as Summer, Manabu Muraji as Jerry and Takako Fuji as Beth.
For those interested in learning more about the plot of Rick and Morty, here is a brief synopsis. The story follows the adventures of Rick Sanchez, a mad scientist, and his grandson Morty Smith. Together, they try to reconcile their daily lives with their crazy interdimensional misadventures, traveling to different planets in the universe and through different dimensions using portals and Rick’s scientist’s ship.
