This seems to prove that even the most successful anime are not exempt from criticism and divisions within the fan community.
What are the most hated anime?
It is important to note that the following ranking has been compiled based on statistics from MyAnimeList, a website widely used globally to rate and review anime series. A user has analyzed some of the data collected on the platform, identifying those popular anime that have received a large number of extremely low scores, i.e. ratings of 1/10.
So it should be noted that the data to be shown does not actually reflect the most hated anime, it only shows some of the most popular anime of the moment that have the most haters, according to statistics from MyAnimeList.
Re:Zero Season 3 – 1838 votes out of 1/10 (4.4%)
The third season of Re:Zero generated too many expectations for the epic fights that would be shown throughout its episodes, and although it has not disappointed, many fans expected more excitement, which we will eventually see when the continuation of the series airs.
Bleach – 1677 votes of 1/10 (5.3%)
Bleach is a very controversial series due to the high percentage of filler it contains, so it was to be expected that it would be the center of criticism from fans. However, the final season of Bleach is doing an excellent job of faithfully adapting the manga and correcting all the continuity and plot errors that caused so much discomfort to those who read the end of the manga.
Solo Leveling – 1562 votes out of 1/10 (0.4%)
Solo Leveling is one of the most popular webtoons of the moment, so its adaptation to anime generated a lot of expectations. However, many fans were disappointed by the slow start of the series in its first episodes to explain the background of its universe and the evolution of the protagonist, a story arc that is only a preview of events that stand out for large doses of action.
One Piece Fan Letter – 1501 votes out of 1/10 (3.0%)
One Piece Fan Letter is a 24-minute OVA cataloged as one of the best episodes of the franchise for moving away from the typical vision we have in each episode to show us something completely different. However, due to its extensive positive comments on the internet, it was normal that it accumulated haters who do not like to watch One Piece.
Blue Lock – 1069 votes out of 1/10 (4.3%)
Blue Lock, a popular soccer anime, has faced strong criticism in its second season due to the poor quality of its animation, which has been compared to a PowerPoint presentation. The simplicity with which the epic confrontations highlighted in the manga are depicted is generating discontent among fans.
Uzumaki – 1064 votes out of 1/10 (2.2%)
Uzumaki is one of the most anticipated horror anime, although it has faced multiple delays over the years. Its first episode surprised with masterful execution from start to finish; however, subsequent episodes experienced a noticeable decline in quality.
Mushoku Tensei – 1048 votes out of 1/10 (0.5%)
Mushoku Tensei is undoubtedly one of the pinnacles of the isekai genre in light novels, anime and manga. It served as inspiration for the creation of multiple popular isekai and its anime adaptation brought together prestigious animators, producers and directors who participated willingly, resulting in a sublime first season from start to finish. However, the second season experienced a drop in quality, although it still remained above average by production standards.
On the other hand, the premise of the protagonist, Rudeus, who is actually an older man reincarnated with the memories of his previous life, and his perverted behavior towards the female protagonists have generated criticism among some viewers.
Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken – 738 votes of 1/10 (0.5%)
Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken is another of the most popular isekai anime of the moment, which is currently facing some criticism for its strong focus on politics and conflicts that result in a large number of episodes where we see how only the characters are limited to talk about strategies and planning. However, do not think badly, Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken is an excellent work that we recommend watching.
Tower of God – 630 votes out of 1/10 (0.9%)
Tower of God is one of the first anime adaptations inspired by webtoons that caused a great stir, but its second anime season has not enjoyed the same success and in fact has been criticized for the artistic change that seems to reveal a poorer animation quality.

Demon Slayer is one of the most popular shonen anime of all time, causing a global furor that turned the premiere of each of the last seasons of the anime into a massive phenomenon that raised hundreds of millions in all parts of the world. However, the end of the manga has been criticized to this day, with users upset with the popularity of the series claiming that Demon Slayer’s popularity is only due to the quality of its animation.
