“Re: Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu” (Re: Zero – Starting Life in Another World) is one of those fascinating stories that captivates every fan once you give it a chance, whether it is an anime or a light novel. It is not for less, since the more we advance in the events of the plot, the more questions and doubts this representative work of the “isekai” genre leaves us.
In this sense, one of the things that in recent times have attracted the attention of fans are those parallel stories that have been shown to us in the anime, but if we go to the original source, it enriches even more the incredible “lore” of this series. That is why a group of fans have created a “database” of these stories, so that those who are interested can delve deeper into them.
The lore of “Re:ZERO” is enhanced thanks to this database that points out important moments you might have missed when reading the novel!
As everyone knows when it comes to adapting an anime, from time to time certain stories are omitted from the original material, whether manga or “NL” that can be very critical and important to the context of the series. The “Re: Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu” franchise is no stranger to this and to clean up this issue, the fan translation group called “Witch Cult Translation” has created a site where they compile all these stories.
This site called “REZERODB” has a function very similar to “MAL” (MyAnimeLIst) but is completely exclusive to the franchise created by Teppei Nagatsuki. One of the advantages is that this site is divided by arcs, for example: at the end of the first arc there are 6 complementary stories that the site tells you in which part of the light novel they are, likewise with arc number 2 and successive arcs.
There is also a bookmarking method so that fans of “Re: Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu” (Re: Zero – Starting Life in Another World) can effectively keep track of the readings of these parallel stories through bookmarks on the site such as “Read”, “Reading”, “Unread” and “Abandoned”.
Currently, the site has no more and no less than 311 parallel stories that give us a broader and richer context of the history of Subaru, Emilia, Rem and company. However, a very important detail to keep in mind is that although new entries are updated every day on the site, all of them are translated into English, as well as some are still without translation.
This is undoubtedly a great effort by this community of translations “fan made” to expand the universe of “Re: Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu” that every day gives us moments that leave us quite intrigued and that thanks to this, have made it one of the most beloved series among fans of the “isekai”.
