From the beginning it can be noticed with some slight frame jerks that unless one focuses on this, it can go unnoticed without any problem, but in general the gameplay looks fluid.
You could ask for a little more about the graphics, since being a car video game you would expect that this does not decline, but in the Switch version if it leaves much to be desired by the fact that you can see some very plasticky textures, which being cars we would not want to see. We would have to check the other versions of PC, Xbox and PlayStation, but at least in the Nintendo Switch if it comes to noticeably decay this that was mentioned.
Multiplayer
Although it is a game that one would seek to take any shortcut on the map because of the feeling it gives us and the different elements of the layouts of the tracks, it limits us to always be in the original layout. And this can become a bit annoying for the player when you leave the section, as it is returned shortly after and is not able to enjoy much, but in a way it is understandable at least for the career mode.
And the strong point would be the multiplayer mode that Monster Jam Showdown offers us, because we can play against eight players online and the chaos becomes even greater. Imagine being in the middle of a race on a circuit in eight against other players in real life, without a doubt this becomes a complete destruction that you can enjoy to the fullest, so you have to give it a chance to play the full game and if you can with friends.

In general we can say that Monster Jam Showdown is an experience that anyone can enjoy without any problem, new players without experience can help themselves with the driving aids and experienced players can challenge themselves to drive the Monster Truck and demonstrate their ability. Despite this there are certain details like the ones we mentioned before that can make the experience a little unpleasant, but overall this is a good arcade game that will make many people spend a pleasant time playing it.
