Although the third season of the popular romantic comedy anime “Rent-a-Girlfriend” (Kanojo, Okarishimasu) ended several months ago, companies in Japan continue to look to the franchise for new collaborations featuring the female characters of the story.
On previous occasions, we have seen them wearing all kinds of outfits, be it attractive swimsuits, irresistible lingerie sets or other types of outfits that are a delight for fans. However, we rarely have the opportunity to see Chizuru, Mami, Ruka, Sumi and Mini wearing an outfit like the ones we will see below.
Rent-a-Girlfriend waifus surprise with dazzling cosplay
A new collaboration with the anime adaptation of the manga “Rent-a-Girlfriend” was announced in the official media of the retail chain “Sofmap/Animega“. This collaboration will consist in the production of a line of products inspired by the characters Chizuru Mizuhara, Mami Nanami, Ruka Sarashina, Sumi Sakurasawa and Mini Yaemori, who will make an incredible cosplay of Navy Admirals for this special occasion.
According to the information provided on the official website of the “Sofmap/Animega” store, this special event is scheduled to take place in Japan from January 19 until next February 4 this year. Some of the products that will be exhibited in this collaboration are as follows: B2 Tapestry, Acrylic Figures, Acrylic Keychains, Tin Badges, Acrylic Mini Figure, among other things.
It is important to note that all products will feature the Rent-a-Girlfriend version of the waifus presented in the promotional image, where the girls stand out by presenting an incredible navy admiral outfit. True to this theme, some visuals have been presented where we can see the presentation of Chizuru, Mami, Ruka, Sumi and Mini in the style of “Most Wanted”.
“Rent-a-Girlfriend” follows the life of Kazuya Kinoshita, a college student who has been dumped by his girlfriend and is emotionally devastated. In an attempt to fill the void in his heart, he turns to a mobile app that allows him to rent a girlfriend.
During his search, Kazuya meets Chizuru Mizuhara, who appears to be the perfect girl with stunning looks and a charming personality. However, after their first date, Kazuya finds himself with divided opinions on Chizuru’s profile and, haunted by his previous relationship, believes that she is just playing with men’s feelings, leading him to give her a negative rating.
Enraged by Kazuya’s lack of respect, Chizuru reveals her true nature. However, due to a series of circumstances, Kazuya and Chizuru are forced to maintain a fake relationship, acting as if they are really in love.
As the story progresses, both protagonists face various challenges and comical situations as they struggle to maintain the charade while discovering more about themselves and their true feelings. “Rent-a-Girlfriend” combines romance, comedy and drama to explore the complexities and emotions involved in human relationships.
