The official media of the Japanese retail chain “Gamers” has presented to the public a dazzling collaboration with the popular anime series “Rent-a-Girlfriend” (Kanojo, Okarishimasu) in which the main heroines of the story will have a very relevant role.
This fascinating collaboration will consist of a line of products inspired by the characters Chizuru Mizuhara, Mami Nanami, Ruka Sarashina, Sumi Sakurasawa and Mini Yaemori and their respective themes will show the most elegant and dazzling side of the waifus, who will wear a beautiful dress to go to a cocktail party. Additionally, a promotional image for this lovely special event has been released.

The illustration featured in the promotional image for the collaboration has captured the attention and enthusiasm of passionate fans of the romantic comedy anime “Rent-a-Girlfriend.” In this attractive sneak peek, the female characters of the story are presented in a way that highlights their charm and beauty and this has been a detail that fans of the franchise have praised for showing the more dazzling and elegant side of the waifus.
The design of Chizuru, Mami, Ruka, Sumi and Mini for this special collaboration seeks to show a new side of them, this with the aim of captivating the hearts of fans who love to see the different versions of them in this type of collaborations. In addition, their elegant dresses are adapted to the natural colors of both, with Chizuru wearing a dark red dress, Mami wearing a yellow/orange dress, Ruka wearing a blue dress, Sumi wearing a dress with violet and purple shades and Mini wearing a dress with a darker blue than Ruka.
Although the third season of the anime adaptation of the manga “Rent-a-Girlfriend” (Kanojo, Okarishimasu) came to an end at the end of September 2023, it never ceases to amaze the considerable amount of collaborations that companies in Japan release on a monthly basis.
It seems that the popularity of Rent-a-Girlfriend is still going strong among the Japanese public and the girls in the story have already starred in several collaborations that put her in different situations.
“Rent-a-Girlfriend” follows the life of Kazuya Kinoshita, a college student who has been dumped by his girlfriend and is emotionally devastated. In an attempt to fill the void in his heart, he turns to a mobile app that allows him to rent a girlfriend.
During his search, Kazuya meets Chizuru Mizuhara, who appears to be the perfect girl with stunning looks and a charming personality. However, after their first date, Kazuya finds himself with divided opinions on Chizuru’s profile and, haunted by his previous relationship, believes that she is just playing with men’s feelings, leading him to give her a negative rating.
Enraged by Kazuya’s lack of respect, Chizuru reveals her true nature. However, due to a series of circumstances, Kazuya and Chizuru are forced to maintain a fake relationship, acting as if they are really in love.
As the story progresses, both protagonists face various challenges and comical situations as they struggle to maintain the charade while discovering more about themselves and their true feelings. “Rent-a-Girlfriend” combines romance, comedy and drama to explore the complexities and emotions involved in human relationships.
