The anime adaptation of the light novel Rekishi ni Nokoru Akujo ni Naru zo (I’ll Become a Villainess Who Goes Down in History) has shared new information through its official media. The highlight of this new round of news is the premiere date of the series, which is scheduled to begin airing in Japan on October 1 of this year.
Additionally, the official website of the anime Rekishi ni Nokoru Akujo ni Naru zo also presented a new promotional video starring Alicia Williams, one of the main characters of the series, and is narrated by Kanna Nakamura, the voice actress of this character.
Rekishi ni Nokoru Akujo ni Naru zo reveals trailer release date
While the series will be coming to us on October 1, the anime Rekishi ni Nokoru Akujo ni Naru zo had already shown a preview of its first episode, which had a world premiere at the Anime Messe Babelsberg 2024 event in Berlin, Germany, on July 20 this year.
It is important to mention that the staff members of the series Rekishi ni Nokoru Akujo ni Naru zo have already been revealed and among them are: Yūji Yanase who directs the anime at Maho Film, the scripts of the series fall on Sawako Hirabayashi, on the other hand, Yūko Watabe and Eri Kojima are the main character designers of the series and Moe Hyūga is in charge of composing the music.

Rekishi ni Nokoru Akujo ni Naru zo is a Japanese light novel series written by Izumi Okido and illustrated by Jyun Hayase. Initially, the novel was published in web format on the user-generated web novel publishing site Shōsetsuka ni Narō in December 2018. Subsequently, publisher Enterbrain began publication under its B’s Log Bunko light novel imprint in August 2019 and is now in charge of an anime adaptation of the light novel series produced by Maho Film to be released on October 1, 2024.
The amusing story of Rekishi ni Nokoru Akujo ni Naru zo follows a young girl named Alicia who hates good heroines, apparently that kind of perfection is not her style. Her life changes completely when one day she wakes up and realizes that she has been reincarnated in one of her favorite otome games and is none other than the villain of the story. Determined to be the worst villain and the most feared of all, she seeks to do evil, but it seems that the more she tries to be the worst villain, the more the prince seems to like her and becomes more and more interested in her, leading our protagonist to a series of funny and romantic events.
