Less than 1 year after its release, the latest smartphone video game of the popular multimedia franchise Re: Zero – Starting Life in Another World, titled Re:Zero Witch’s Re:surrection (Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu Witch’s Re:surrection), announced that it will end its service in May of this year.
This news was confirmed through a statement published in the X/Twitter account of the video game Re:Zero Witch’s Re:surrection, where it was specified that the title will close its servers on May 30. With this announcement, it was specified to the players that the sale of the game’s currency, known as “Magical Rainbow Crystals”, has been interrupted.

It is worth noting that the smartphone video game Re:Zero Witch’s Re:resurrection opened its servers to the public on August 26, 2024. This title featured the participation of Konomi Suzuki, who performed “Resurrection”, the main song of the video game.

Re: Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu, known as Re: Zero and also as Re: Zero – Starting Life in Another World in the West, is an isekai light novel that combines fantasy and suspense. This work is written by Tappei Nagatsuki and illustrated by Shinichirou Otsuka and began publication in January 2014 at Media Factory’s MF Bunko J imprint and is still continuing in serialization.
April 4, 2016 marked the premiere of the anime adaptation of Re: Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu, which consists of 3 seasons with a total of 66 episodes, including specials and 2 OVAs. The animation studio White Fox was responsible for the production of the series, under the direction of Masaharu Watanabe. Currently, the anime is legally available in Latin America through the Crunchyroll platform, which dubbed the anime into English.
At the end of the third season of the anime, the production of a fourth season for Re: Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu was announced. Further updates on the new installment of the series will be announced soon.
Re: Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu has the following description:
When Subaru Natsuki leaves the store, the last thing he expects is to be ripped away from his everyday life and dropped into a fantasy world. Things don’t look good for the bewildered teenager; however, not long after his arrival, he is attacked by thugs. Armed with only a shopping bag and a useless cell phone, he is soon beaten to a pulp.
Fortunately, a mysterious beauty named “Satella”, who is chasing the one who stole his badge, stumbles upon Subaru and saves him. To thank the honest and kind girl, Subaru offers to help her in her search, and later that night, he even finds the whereabouts of what she is looking for. But unbeknownst to them, a much darker force stalks the pair from the shadows, and just minutes after locating the badge, Subaru and “Satella” are brutally murdered.
However, Subaru immediately wakes up again and encounters a familiar scene: he is confronted by the same group of thugs and meets Satella again.
