Recently, we shared in this article the news that the Twitter/X account of Rem’s seiyuu, Inori Minase, was harshly criticized for a suspicious publication in this social network. Well, this event continued to happen, so many users on this platform began to wonder if there was a possibility that her account had been hacked, something that could have been confirmed from the same official page of the seiyuu.
It is suspected that the Twitter account of Rem’s seiyuu from Re: Zero, Inori Minase, was manipulated.
As we may recall, this whole issue started with a tweet from Inori Minase saying, “Stupid people who couldn’t read Inori Minase’s warnings” and even though that post was deleted, it managed to catch the attention of many users on this social network who wondered what had led the actress to make such comments. Well, this issue did not stop there, but continued to be published and this time were things that were dedicated to attack other voice actresses, including Yui Ogura and Akari Kito, Yu Serizawa and others, especially with regard to their personal image, saying that they had undergone cosmetic surgeries to achieve more prominence in the industry.
Among these publications made against Yui Ogura were some that said “Yui Ogura reveals her lip-sync in live performances, hints at ghostwriting her songs, improves her appearance, tries to attract customers”, “Akari Kito causes her CDs not to sell, undergoes breast augmentation plastic surgery”, “Yu Serizawa reveals her plastic surgery”, clearly this caught the attention of not only Inori Minase‘s fans, but also the actresses involved in this dilemma, which started a Twitter/X debate.
Many of Inori Minase’s followers who were following this issue noticed that there were odd things about the way these tweets were being shared, so they began to speculate if there was a possibility that her account had been hacked. And if this was the case, they should report it immediately to avoid further damaging the actress’ image. While other people thought that it was indeed the seiyuu who was behind these comments, and criticized her attitude.
Finally, the official account of the seiyuu posted a publication where they communicated that there was a possibility that Inori Minase ‘s account had been manipulated by an unauthorized external person, where they were currently reviewing the situation. In addition, they are assessing the damage that had been caused by this situation, as well as investigating the cause and taking measures to prevent a recurrence in the future. They ended by apologizing for worrying the fans and the people involved. This clearly provoked diverse reactions from the public, many of them encouraging the actress saying that this situation was something out of her hands, so there was nothing to worry about.
Many people even commented that they themselves should be careful with the management of their accounts, since this situation is something that can happen to anyone, no matter if they are not famous. On the other hand, some cybernauts still doubted that it was really an unauthorized access and said that it would be much better if the company assumed its mistakes and apologized for them, instead of trying to hide them. Likewise, they said that this “excuse” was a very poor attempt to try to remedy something that caused harm to other people. So far, this is the only statement made by Inori Minase‘s team, we will have to wait for an update.
