Re: Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu, abbreviated as Re: Zero and also known in the West as Re:Zero Starting Life in Another World, is an isekai fantasy thriller light novel written by Tappei Nagatsuki and illustrated by Shinichirou Otsuka. The novel began publication under the MF Bunko J imprint of Media Factory Publishing since January 2014 and is currently still in publication.
On April 4, 2016, the light novel Re: Zero premiered its anime adaptation which consisted of 2 seasons (50 episodes in total), different specials and 2 OVAs. In addition, the animation studio White Fox was in charge of the production of the series under the direction of Masaharu Watanabe. The series is available legally through the Crunchyroll platform and has a English dub.
