The upcoming arrival of Christmas in Japan has prompted the video game of the anime adaptation of the light novel Re: Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu (Re: Zero – Starting Life in Another World), titled Re: Zero Witch’s Re:surrection, to begin a special Christmas-themed event.
In order to promote this event within the title, the official X account of the Re: Zero video game has presented to the public a series of beautiful illustrations featuring the characters Emilia, Rem and Ram. As expected, the illustrations feature a Christmas theme, where we will be able to see the waifus play the role of Santa Claus by wearing beautiful Christmas outfits and handing out gifts to the public.
It should be noted that this curious Christmas event of the video game Re: Zero Witch’s Re:surrection will have some additions such as special events that will grant you crystals and also Gacha tickets to redeem in the title. In addition, this event will end next December 26, so the public should make the most of the benefits that this event brings with it.

Re: Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu, known as Re: Zero and also as Re: Zero – Starting Life in Another World in the West, is an isekai light novel that combines fantasy and suspense. This work is written by Tappei Nagatsuki and illustrated by Shinichirou Otsuka and began publication in January 2014 at Media Factory’s MF Bunko J imprint and is still continuing in serialization.
April 4, 2016 marked the premiere of the anime adaptation of Re: Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu, which consists of 2 seasons with a total of 50 episodes, including specials and 2 OVAs and a third season of 16 episodes in total.
The animation studio White Fox was responsible for the production of the series, under the direction of Masaharu Watanabe. Currently, the anime is legally available in America through the Crunchyroll platform, who made an English dub for the anime.
Re: Zero to return in February 2025 with the Arc of Counterattack
The second part of the third season of the anime Re: Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu will cover the “Counterattack Arc” and is scheduled to premiere in Japan on February 5, 2025.
