After a long time since Princess Peach has starred in a video game, she finally returns in her new release “Princess Peach: Showtime!” and here we will tell you about this new release from Nintendo.
Princess Peach’s starring role in Princess Peach: Showtime!
In this premise, Princess Peach is trapped in the Splendor Theater where, accompanied by “Stella” one of her companions in this great story, she will have to free the theater by entering each play in order to fight the darkness that lurks in this theater.
Within these plays Princess Peach plays a role in this same play which leads to a change of gameplay between plays that makes it entertaining to advance in this title of Princess Peach.
The great world of theater
In the artistic section of course Nintendo does not disappoint, the scenarios of the theater where the “plays” or most of the gameplay takes place are very unique and beautiful, from being able to see the classic castles of a Mario game in a play format, to being able to see scenarios of a ninja temple.
Similarly the “outfits” that Princess Peach models in each of these are simply beautiful, as seen in the trailers, we can see some outfits such as “Swordswoman Peach”, “Ninja Peach” or “Detective Peach” which shows us the variety of scenarios that we will be seeing in this installment.
The gameplay of Princess Peach: Showtime!
And as mentioned above, its gameplay is quite entertaining and varied as well as simple, since the wide variety of scenarios or “works” in which Peach is found, gives us a wide variety of gameplay within this title, from enjoying a “hack and slash” to have the experience of a stealth game.
Of course, the gameplay is accessible to all audiences because its controls and mechanics are simple to understand and make it a video game that everyone can enjoy without further complication.
Should you play Princess Peach: Showtime?
Princess Peach: Showtime is a great installment and I consider it a great gateway into video gaming. It’s an entertaining adventure that demonstrates Princess Peach’s potential in her own title, without the need to rely on any other character in the Mario saga.
We know that every product of the Super Mario license is a sign of high quality and we have no doubt that Splendor Theater will be well received by Nintendo fans, of course it fails in things, especially the lack of ambition to be able to take it further. But that does not detract from the great work that was done with this installment of and that opens the door to new deliveries of Princess Peach alone.
