One of the biggest leaks in history was the one suffered this October by the company Game Freak, the company responsible for the entire Pokémon video game franchise, with approximately 1 Terabyte of data ranging from future projects such as the tenth generation to be included in the game Legends: Z A to data of its employees and the company, but the most incredible was the lore of some characters, as some fans still do not believe the stories and others begin to make “fanmades” as an illustration of two popular Evangelion characters referring to one of the most murky leaks: that of Typhlosion.
Two Evangelion characters star in a Pokemon fanmade
Misato Katsuragi, one of Neon Genesis Evangelion’s most acclaimed waifus, is the subject of an illustration shared by Twitter/X user @khyleri that references one of the murkiest leaks to date. This leak was one of the first to be shared on social media and tells the story of Typhlosion who is the third Cyndaquil evolution, the initial fire-type that belonged to Ash Ketchum in the Johto region.
And it was known due to the latest leaks that this Pokémon had taken advantage of a girl, with whom he had a son, so the user decided to recreate the concept of a more adult being, performing these acts with someone younger with two characters from the mythical work Evangelion. That’s why he shared this illustration that shows us Misato Katsuragi dressed for Halloween in a Typhlosion outfit opening the door to a clueless Shinji Ikari dressed as Ash Ketchum, making more than clear the idea of having shady thoughts before the young man.
As for why these two characters were chosen, it is that the close relationship between Misato and Shinji from Neon Genesis Evangelion made the fans of the series took the opportunity to make a Ship to these characters for a loving thought towards Shinji that Misato had in an episode of the anime, which shortly after she erased because of her moral sense.
As expected, many fans echoed this illustration, not only because the user is known in the networks for presenting works with several hidden messages, which in this case was more than evident, but also because of the union of the different characters and their plots. That is why the messages in the original publication are divided between those who supported the artist’s work, while others questioned him for touching such sensitive issues in a somewhat comical way.
