Pokemon HOME no se conectara con Scarlet y Violet PORTADA ind

Pokémon retracts! Connectivity between Pokémon HOME and Scarlet & Purple will NOT be released next week….

We recently told you that the long-awaited connectivity between Pokémon HOME and Scarlet & Purple was finally announced to arrive next week, on May 24. Fans had been looking forward to this confirmation since November of last year, as everyone wanted to transfer their old Pokémon to the latest titles. In addition, they had also announced that the inauguration of this connectivity would come with a gift of the 3 Starters of Paldea with their hidden abilities. Well, forget about all that. Because Game Freak and The Pokémon Company just confirmed that that date is wrong, and they didn’t even give us another one.

What the heck is going on with Pokémon Home?

As the text says, it seems that there was a communication error between the franchise’s social networks, and that that release date is not the real one. I think no one would have had a problem with that mistake if they had confirmed the real release date in the same tweet. But no, they simply retracted and backed down, leaving fans who were eagerly awaiting this connectivity between Pokémon Home and the Ninth Generation titles in uncertainty again.

This is something that has no real precedent. Pokémon has been plagued by multiple questionable decisions in recent years, but the franchise always maintained an acceptable level of professionalism in its announcements and statements, especially in those made through various social networks. But announcing a date that fans have been waiting for months, only to say “Oops! Sorry!” , a few days later and retracting, left their loyal fans completely furious. And rightly so. The worst part is that this is not the only blunder Pokémon had this week…

The current Teraincursions in Scarlet & Purple are suspended

Teraincursions are a mechanic in Scarlet & Purple that help keep the game’s community active: Every week, there is a new monster with Teracristal of 5, 6 or 7 stars that several players will have to join to defeat. Recently, they had announced 2 types of special Teraincursions: One of Chesnaught, and another of the two Paradox: Colmilargo and Ferrodada. However, many players reported that the latter had a glitch that did not give them any reward at the end of the battle, and then proceeded to freeze the game. So they were forced to suspend them temporarily.

This does not surprise us: Scarlet & Purple is a solid video game, but it has been criticized since its release due to its multiple technical and graphical errors. That there is a programming error that ruined this Teraincursion is something unfortunate, but expected. What we don’t understand is why they also had to suspend the battle against Chesnaught, which had nothing to do with it. On May 21 at 0:00 these incursions will be reintegrated into the game, so luckily we don’t have to wait for long.

But what’s going on at The Pokémon Company and Game Freak?! Despite their questionable decisions, they usually do a good job in maintaining the image and integrity of the brand, but these two mistakes in one week left them very badly off. We have no idea when the new connectivity of Pokémon HOME will come out, so we go back to frustrating speculation. We love the Pokémon franchise, we even like Scarlet & Purple a lot. But it’s time for Nintendo and Game Freak to get their act together, or else their reputation will continue to be ruined in the coming months…
