With the recent leaks suffered by the renowned company Game Freak, developer of one of the most recognised franchises in the world, Pokémon, the networks have been stirred up, as the information went beyond the presentation of future projects or concepts, but several stories have come to light. One of the most talked about is that of Typhlosion for being too dark, but besides this, other pokemon also have their plots, and the one involving Slakoth, its evolutions and the beginning of the relationship between humans and these beings has shocked everyone.
Pokémon origin story involving Slakoth leaks, shocks the internet
After the wave of leaks that Game Freak, developer of the Pokémon franchise, suffered, the internet has been revolutionised, but what has most shocked many is the stories that feature the Pokémon themselves, especially because of how dark many of them are. Among those that stand out the most are this one about Typhlosion and also one that features Slakoth, where some of the most aberrant acts are carried out and which is giving people a lot to talk about in the networks.
This story, called ‘The original sin based on the current Pokémon World’ presents us with a world in which the line between humans and pokemon is still very blurred, where we meet a young man who, along with his companions, whenever they were bored, would go out and catch wild Slakoth in the forest. But unlike what you would expect, that they would use them to fight, in their boredom they would perform very cruel practices on them, often pulling off body parts such as ears or even ending their existence.
One day, the girl sees a Slakoth in a tree, so she climbs up to catch it, but she slips and falls to the ground hurting herself and at that very moment a Vigoroth (evolution of Slakoth) appears, where you can see that it has an injured ear, so the girl tried to run away, but because of her wounds she couldn’t go very far. That is when the Vigoroth attacks her and she loses consciousness, but after a while she wakes up and does not recognise the place, she can only see a lake and several trees where this type of pokemon are hanging, but she notices how they all have injuries on their bodies.
But here begins the most shocking part of the leaked story, and that is that all these pokemon had already perished, and the girl realised that they were the same beings that they had eliminated and that the other pokemon were throwing into the lake. When she tries to run she encounters a Slaking, the latest evolution of this race, which also had an ear with the same type of injury as the previous ones, so it was the same Vigoroth she had seen before and she faints because of the fear she was feeling.
When she regained consciousness she was at the entrance of a forest near her home, so her friends saw her and came to her aid, but it was only the beginning, because after a while the woman gave birth to a baby and the shocking thing was that it was not human, but a Slakoth. She tried to abandon it, but she couldn’t, so she decided to move away from her friends and dedicate herself to take care of this new being, although her companions became worried about her, so they went out to look for her, finding her whereabouts, but not her, there was only someone there: the Slakoth.
And as usual, they decided to ‘have fun’ in their own way, ending the pokémon’s life and taking it as a prize to the woman once they found her. Unsurprisingly, she lost her mind at the sight of this scene, so she grabbed the Slakoth and took it running into the forest, with her companions running after her. Finally, they came to a large lake filled with Slakoths and Vigoroths and at the bottom was the woman, who with her ‘child’ in her arms decided to jump into the water. After these, the young woman’s companions began to take the Slakoths as companions, thus initiating the relationship between humans and pokémon.
As expected, this leak was one of the most talked about of all those that could be obtained, even being on par with Typhlosion and generating a lot of comments on all social networks, especially many commenting on how dark this story is. The Pokémon franchise is known for being focused on a much more child-centric audience, and that the beginning of the relationship between Pokémon and humans came after an event like this is very strong, even for any franchise.
As for the other leaks, they present some of the future projects that Pokémon will launch, as well as the initial concepts that several of the beings present in the franchise had, but without a doubt these stories were the most talked about by everyone because of how shocking they are. For their part, Game Freak only made a statement apologising for the data leak, but did not confirm any of the stories that are circulating in the networks.
