Hello again, sixth generation! – Pokemon Legends Z-A
There is no doubt that this shocking news took everyone by surprise who was expecting the big announcement to be made on this special day. There was much speculation about what TPCi had in store for Pokémon Day but hardly anyone would have expected a new Legends. Set in the times after the Great Kalos War, Pokémon Legends Z-A will seek to show us how the important change that gave way to the great city we knew during the events of Pokémon X/Y took place.
Through the official Pokémon X account (Twitter) and the game’s official website, we learned that this work will take place entirely in Luminalia City:
An ambitious new entry in the Pokemon-based video game series will make its worldwide debut next year exclusively for Nintendo Switch.
Awaiting is a new adventure inside Luminalia City, where an urban redesign plan promises to turn the city into a place that belongs to both humans and Pokemon.
Clearly, this is a teaser that has only fanned the flames of a community that for some time now has been watching other titles with similar themes shake the foundations of a franchise as solid as Pokemon. However, with the arrival of this new release, many fans have regained that hype and confidence in the series, thanks to these spin-offs that have received such good reviews since their debut with the brilliant Pokemon Legend: Arceus.
Pokemon Legends Z-A continues the same path as its predecessor, expanding the lore that often accompanies most titles in the series but that, due to time constraints, cannot be included in the main releases. Thus, it is expected that this new game, which will make its debut in 2025, will serve as a guide to learn a little more about the behind-the-scenes of the rebirth of the main city of the sixth generation.
There is no doubt that the announcement of Pokemon Legends Z-A will be the topic of conversation for fans of this long-lived franchise for the rest of the year.
