Pokémon is a franchise that has remained strong over time, and now it has a new series called Pokémon Horizons, which has generated a lot of buzz since its announcement and the introduction of new characters to the story, including the departure of the unforgettable protagonist Ash Ketchum.
Pokémon Horizons reveals new members of the scouts
The official Twitter account of Pokémon Horizons @anipoke_PR has been revealing new characters and giving news about this new Pokémon series, let me introduce you to the members of the explorers. From left to right and from top to bottom, the names of the members are: Hamber, Zir, Amethio, Conia, Agete, Onyx, Sango, Spinel.
The Pokémon account shared some images that have intrigued the fans, the first appearance of this group is in episode 1237 where they try to get Liko’s pendant, Amethio is the one who approaches her with the excuse of coming on behalf of her grandmother who needs the pendant back, but Liko is a bit suspicious and decides to escape.
In the images we can see Onyx and Sango as well as Hamber and Amethio, the world of Pokémon is undoubtedly full of curiosities and this new stage is no exception, the names of the Explorers are based on different crystalline stones:
- Hamber, refers to Baltic Amber.
- Amethio, refers to Amethyst.
- Zir and Conia together refer to Zirconia.
- Agete, refers to the Agate gemstone.
- Onyx, refers to the Onyx gemstone.
- Sango, refers to the Coral Pearl mineral.
- Spinel, refers to the crystalline stone called Spinel.
In general terms, the new stage of Pokémon Horizons is doing quite well, it is a big step that must not have been easy to take, because for the older fans it is quite hard to see the new Pokémon anime without their beloved protagonist, the affection that Ash has is something that will always be there and if he ever comes back he will be welcomed with open arms.
