Pokemon Chinese Version or Monster World 3D RPG is one more in the list of successful video games that have had their copies, whether bad or decent copies, a list that is endless, if the title is successful be sure you will find thousands of copies in the different digital stores, although this blatant plagiarism is more common in successful titles for cell phones. Just to give an example, if you search for Call of Duty in the Play Store we realize that, at the beginning, if we see the game we are looking for, but as we go down, the titles become stranger and stranger, some even shamelessly have the nerve to be paid games.
Most of these copies tend to attract attention in strange ways, some even with illustrations that are a bit over the top, such as Monster World 3D RPG, the “Chinese Pokemon for mobiles“.
Pokemon China Version or Monster World 3D RPG, the strange title advertised in even stranger ways
As I mentioned, Monster World 3D RPG is a title of which nothing is known, gameplay, characters, story, literally nothing, except that it has a golden seal on Twitter and is paying for advertising to publicize the launch of the game.
Although the name Monster World 3D RPG has nothing to do with the legendary franchise, Pokemon, apparently it is a mobile game of Pokémon Chinese version, and I say apparently, since no one knows if it is really official, because of the strange things and its peculiar way of attracting attention. A clear example is the logo of the game in the Apple store:
At first sight, it looks like any logo, something simple, but functional, now if you look for the origin of this image, it is from a very old fanart of what could be the mega form of Pokemon Lapras, which means that in a game of a worldwide known franchise they made a copy and paste, but this is not the strangest thing, since in the campaign of the Pokémon Chinese version their ads will not be liked by the entire Pokémon community.
Just to mention one, let’s talk about the beautiful, Misty to whom they put some art that I’m almost 100% sure is AI generated art with the intention of attracting attention, judge for yourselves.
A buffed Misty is appreciated, but I doubt it’s an ad for an official game of one of the most popular franchises in the world like Pokémon, but if you are still not sure that this title has nothing to do with Pokémon, the ad below makes it more than clear, the ad itself put the character Lillie next to a very buffed version of Misty, the 2 having a conversation that seems to be about the apparent popularity that Monster World 3D RPG is having:
Now it may be that this is the way to draw attention on that side of the pond, although it is impossible that it is so, it seems that this game has its days numbered, and if by the grace of the holy spirit, managed to reach January 2024 we can check if everything they were announcing is real.
