Oye, Tonbo! is an anime that managed to charm a large number of fans around the world, being that its interesting premise of a former professional golfer who discovers in a rural town a young girl with all the virtues to be a great golfer, gave more than enough reasons to understand its success. And the good news arrived some time ago for fans of this show, as it would have its second season, which is confirmed for next October 7 and to advance a little the arrival of the new episodes, a new visual and a trailer were shared to increase the hype.
Oye, Tonbo! will premiere its second season on October 7 of this year.
As part of the campaign for the arrival of its second season, the anime ¡Oye, Tonbo!, adaptation of the manga written by Ken Kawasaki and illustrated by You Furusawa, shared a series of visual content for fans to liven up the wait for the release of the new episodes, which will begin next Monday, October 7. Among these we have an incredible visual that shows us a little of what will be seen in this season, but the most surprising was an official video trailer, where we can see the characters in action, as well as a preview of what our protagonists will live.
In the short, but informative trailer, we see how Tonbo will have to face a life beyond what she knew so far, as she will compete in her first tournament, so the emotions in this new season will be at the height of what fans expect. But that will not be all, because also, as expected for such an important moment as a tournament, we will meet new characters, including rivals, so Tombo’s story in this second season of ¡Oye, Tonbo! promises to be very exciting.

Oye, Tonbo! tells the story of former professional golfer Kazuyoshi Igarashi, who arrives on Hinoshima Island to start working in the development center of that area, in what seemed to be a simple job in a rural area, but he is soon surprised. When he arrives he discovers a golf course built by the inhabitants of the island, but the most striking thing is when he meets Tonbo Oi, a young girl who has been playing golf using only a 3-iron, one of the most difficult clubs to use. As he gets to know the girl more and more he discovers an innate ability for the sport, so his love for golf is reborn.
