As some of you may recall, back in June the official media for the anime adaptation of the “Overlord” light novel confirmed that new updates on the new movie, titled Overlord: The Sacred Kingdom (Overlord Movie 3: Sei Oukoku-hen), would be released on July 7 at a special event attended by some of the voice cast and production staff.
For fans who have been waiting for new information about the movie “Overlord: The Sacred Kingdom“, we have great news: the production committee has confirmed the film’s release date: September 13, 2024. This news was accompanied by a new promotional video for the Overlord anime movie, which presents a small sample of what we will be able to see in the film.

Something to note is that the new promotional video for the film “Overlord: The Sacred Kingdom” presents a preview of its respective main theme, which will be performed by “OxT” and will be titled “WHEELER-DEALER”. Another detail to note is that the regular screenings of the film will begin on September 20, however, it was confirmed that the IMAX screenings will have an early release, and these screenings will begin on September 13 of this year.
Additionally, the respective official media for the anime adaptation of the light novel “Overlord” have presented a promotional image for the regular and IMAX version of the film “Overlord: The Sacred Kingdom“.
Recall that this special event of the anime “Overlord” was attended by voice actors Hino Satoshi (voice of Ainz) and Masayuki Kato (voice of Demiurge) and voice actress Yumi Hara (voice of Albedo). In addition, the producer of the movie Overlord: The Sacred Kingdom, Kazufumi Kikushima, was also present at this event.
Another point to note is that a few weeks ago, the Crunchyroll platform confirmed that the third Overlord anime movie will also be screened in theaters in different American countries. At the moment a possible release date is unknown, but it is expected that new information will be released as the months go by.
