There is no doubt that Albedo, one of the most relevant characters in the Overlord multimedia franchise, enjoys remarkable popularity in Japan. For some time now, we have seen how the captivating Supervisor of the Guardian Floor in the Great Tomb of Nazarick has been the image of various collaborations with several Japanese companies, which shows the affection that the Japanese public has for this waifu.
Considering Albedo’s enormous popularity in Japan, a new collaboration has been announced in which she will be the protagonist. This time, the company FuRyu will be in charge of the project. According to the information presented in the official media of FuRyu Prize, this collaboration with the anime Overlord will consist in the production of a figure inspired by Albedo. The first images of this curious product have already been shared with the public.

In this curious figure, we can see Albedo in her “Mizugi Dark Purple” version, which shows her wearing an attractive purple swimsuit that perfectly fits her voluptuous figure, thus enhancing her attributes and charm.
Another outstanding feature of this product is that it is part of the Noodle Stopper Figure line, a collection recognized for its innovative functional design. These figures are specially created to act as a “noodle stopper,” allowing collectors and fans to place the character in question sitting on the lid of their instant noodle cup. Furthermore, according to information provided in FuRyu Prize’s official media, the release of this figure is scheduled for July 2025.

Overlord is an isekai light novel that is written by Kugane Maruyama and illustrated by so-bin. The work began publication in the renowned Japanese publisher Enterbrain as of July 30, 2012, spanning a total of 16 volumes to date.
This work was also adapted into manga by Hugin Miyama, debuting in Kadokawa Shoten’s “Comp Ace” magazine in November 2014. In a noteworthy development, it was reported a few months ago that the literary franchise had reached a remarkable 11 million copies in circulation.
On July 7, 2015, the Overlord light novel released its respective anime adaptation which was composed of 4 seasons totaling 52 episodes, accompanied by 3 movies and several specials. The animation studio Madhouse was in charge of the production, under the direction of Naoyuki Itou. The series is legally available in America through the Crunchyroll platform and also has an English dub.
The Overlord anime has the following description: The final hour of the popular virtual reality game Yggdrasil has arrived. However, Momonga, a powerful mage and master of the dark guild Ainz Ooal Gown, decides to spend his last moments in the game as the servers begin to shut down. To his surprise, even though the clock has struck midnight, Momonga is still fully conscious as his character, and what’s more, the non-player characters seem to have developed personalities of their own!
Faced with this abnormal situation, Momonga orders his loyal servants to help him investigate and take control of this new world, hoping to find out what has caused this evolution and whether there may be others in the same situation.
