After pausing the broadcast of its second season for a week, the popular anime adaptation of Aka Akasaka and Mengo Yokoyari’s manga, “Oshi no Ko”, has resumed its broadcast with a special announcement: The beginning of the “Private Arc” arc.
This news was reported to the public in the respective official X account of the anime series and in order to promote the beginning of this new story arc, a promotional image has been presented featuring the characters Ruby Hoshino, Kanna Arima, Mem-Cho, the members of the B-Komachi group.
Oshi no Ko Season 2 announces the beginning of the “Private Arc”.
It is worth noting that the second season of the anime Oshi no Ko began its weekly broadcast on Japanese television on July 3 of this year. This new installment of the series will be composed of a total of 13 episodes and once again, the animation studio Doga Kobo is in charge of its production.
The production team of the second season of the anime Oshi no Ko is as follows: Daisuke Hiramaki will be in charge of directing the second season of the anime. Kanna Hirayama will be in charge of the character designs. The composition of the anime will be in charge of Jin Tanaka and Takurou Iga is in charge of the soundtrack composition.

Oshi no Ko is a drama genre manga written by Aka Akasaka (Kaguya-sama: Love is War) and illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari (Kuzu no Honkai). The work began publication in Shueisha Publishing House’s Weekly Young Jump magazine in April 2020. In addition, Shueisha Publishing has released a total of 15 compilation volumes to date. Due to the good reception from the public, an anime adaptation was announced for production in June 2022.
The anime series corresponding to the manga Oshi no Ko premiered on television in Japan on April 12, 2023 and consists of 11 episodes and a second season currently airing. The series was produced by the animation studio Doga Kobo (Plastic Memories, Dumbbell Nan Kilo Moteru?, Gabriel DropOut) and was legally broadcast in the West through the HIDIVE platform.
