While waiting for the revelation of new updates about the second season of the anime adaptation of the popular manga “Oshi no Ko“, the renowned Japanese company “Taito Toys” presented to the public a collaboration with the franchise.
This collaboration will consist in the elaboration of charming stuffed animals inspired by the characters Ruby Hoshino and Kana Arima. In this curious and adorable product we will be able to see how Ruby and Kana wear the “Strawberry Productions” outfit seen in one of the episodes of the TV anime when they participated in a collaboration with Youtuber Pieyon to promote the group B-Komachi.

According to the information presented in the official media of Taito Toys, these adorable plush toys of Ruby Hoshino and Kana Arima are scheduled to be exhibited in some arcade centers located in several areas of Japan starting January 27th of this year. In addition, it was specified that both products will have an approximate height of 16 cm.
The second season of the anime adaptation of the manga “Oshi no Ko” is scheduled to premiere in Japan later this year. Additionally, new information about the new installment of the series is expected to be revealed at the “Anime Japan 2024” event. It should be noted that the live presentation at this event will feature voice actor and actresses Takeo Ootsuka (voice of Aqua Hoshino), Manaka Iwami (voice of Akane Kurokawa) and Megumi Han (voice of Kana Arima).
Oshi no Ko is a drama genre manga written by Aka Akasaka (Kaguya-sama: Love is War) and illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari (Kuzu no Honkai). The work began publication in Shueisha Publishing House’s Weekly Young Jump magazine in April 2020. In addition, Shueisha has released a total of 13 compilation volumes to date. Due to the good reception from the public, an anime adaptation was announced for production in June 2022.
The anime adaptation of the Oshi no Ko manga premiered on television in Japan on April 12, 2023 and consists of 11 episodes. The series was produced by animation studio Doga Kobo (Plastic Memories, Dumbbell Nan Kilo Moteru?, Gabriel DropOut) and was legally broadcast in the West through the HIDIVE platform.
“Oshi no Ko” presents a story full of surprises and unexpected twists and turns.
