As part of the anime’s tenth anniversary, the series promises to recapture the spectacle that made it famous and deliver an unforgettable experience for its fans.

J.C. Staff strives to exceed expectations for One Punch Man season 3

In a recent interview published on the studio’s official website, Atsushi Fujishiro acknowledged the great expectations surrounding the third season of the anime: “Preparations are progressing steadily and we are working hard to make sure we don’t disappoint,” said the producer. He also stressed that, unlike other ongoing productions within the studio, One Punch Man is a project of great relevance and complexity, which requires extra effort on the part of the team.

Fujishiro also highlighted the challenges the studio faces in production, such as tight deadlines and the need to maintain a balanced work environment between discipline and open communication, according to him, constant dialogue within the team is crucial to ensure a high quality result. In addition, he commented that the commitment and passion of the staff play an important role in the evolution of the project, despite the inevitable setbacks that arise in a production of this magnitude.

The One Punch Man series is at a key stage, as the third season will adapt the Hero Hunter arc, centered on the rise of Garou and his confrontation with the Hero Association, this arc is one of the most exciting in the manga, with epic combats and fundamental moments for the story. The production also counts with the participation of Tomohiro Suzuki in the composition of the series, as well as Chikashi Kubota, Shinjiro Kuroda and Ryosuke Shirakawa in the character design, and Makoto Miyazaki will be in charge of the music, consolidating an experienced team for this challenge.

One Punch Man 10º Aniversario

The first trailer and visuals of the characters, including Saitama, Genos, King and Tatsumaki, have been revealed, increasing fans’ excitement, the designs show special attention to detail and promise higher quality animation compared to the previous season. In addition, as part of the 10th anniversary celebrations, the One Punch Man Magic Music Festival has been announced, an event that will take place on September 14, 2025 in Tokyo and will feature live performances by JAM Project, Hiroko Moriguchi and cast members.

This festival will include performances of the anime’s main themes, live concerts and dubbing sessions with the Seiyuus, another important aspect of One Punch Man’s production is the pressure the team faces in succeeding the popular first season animated by MADHOUSE. The quality of the animation in that installment set a very high standard, and the second season, while narratively solid, was criticized for a decline in fluidity and visual quality. J.C. Staff now has a chance to redeem itself and prove that it can live up to expectations.

The third season of One Punch Man was confirmed in August 2022 and is scheduled to premiere in this 2025, after a six-year wait since the second season. J.C. Staff will continue as the animation studio, with Tomohiro Suzuki as writer and Makoto Miyazaki handling the soundtrack, and while an exact premiere date has not been revealed, season 3 is expected to tackle the Neo Hero Saga, introducing new characters and challenges for Saitama.
