One Piece has had a wonderful job in its animation by Toei Animation, it is practically in its best moment, managing to adapt extremely extraordinary battles along the development of the outcome of the Wano Country arc. The manga One Piece, written and illustrated by Eiichiro Oda, began its publication in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine since July 1997. The manga has 103 compiled volumes published in total, and a few days ago it was reported that the work surpassed 500 million copies in circulation.
On October 20th 1999, the manga One Piece would premiere an anime adaptation that at this moment is still airing and consists of 14 movies, different OVAS and specials. The animation studio Toei Animation is in charge of producing the anime under the direction of Konosuke Uda.
Synopsis of One Piece:
Wealth, fame, power… one man had obtained everything in this world, he was the King of Pirates Gold Roger. Before dying his last words inspired the world to venture into the sea: “My treasure? And so began what is known as the Great Age of Piracy, launching hundreds of pirates into the sea to find the great treasure One Piece.
This series tells the adventures and misadventures of one of those pirates, Monkey D. Luffy, who accidentally as a child ate a Devil Fruit (Akuma no Mi in Japanese), in particular a Gomu Gomu no Mi that made his body gain physical properties of rubber becoming rubber man. Luffy after this event decides that he will become next King of Pirates and for this he must find “One Piece”.
