The visual novel H, Nukitashi (Nukige Mitai na Shima ni Sunderu Watashi wa Dou Surya Ii Desuka?), has excited its fans with the announcement of an anime adaptation. The news of this new project, titled Nukitashi The Animation, has generated great expectations and discussions among fans of the saga, however, it has also brought with it several questions, especially due to the challenge of adapting a work with such specific content and aimed at the H-loving public to a conventional television format. Ever since it was revealed that Nukitashi would have an anime adaptation titled Nukitashi The Animation. Fans have been full of expectations, and although the production company has not yet announced an official release date, it was confirmed that the project will be a TV anime, and that the prestigious Passione studio, known for works such as Mieruko-chan, Citrus and Higurashi When They Cry, among many others, will be in charge of the animation. This announcement has raised expectations around the visual quality and how the story will be carried out, being a visual H-novel project.
One of the biggest concerns of the fan community is related to how the original content of Nukitashi’s visual novel, which belongs to the H genre, will be adapted to a format suitable for Japanese national television. Visual novels of this type often include “whimsical” scenes that would be impossible to show in a conventional anime, which has generated intense debates on social networks, with many wondering if the anime will maintain the essence of the game or if it will opt for a lighter and more accessible approach.

Nukitashi is set on a fictional island called Seiran, however, the Island is a place where in order to slow down the population decline, a peculiar law was implemented that allows and encourages actively performing “delicious” throughout the island, and rejecting any act of this type is considered a crime with severe punishments.
The story follows Junnosuke Tachibana, a young man proud of his not having experienced any of this and being a fan of purity, who begins to question this law, with the intention of protecting the purity of himself and his beloved sister, decides to form a resistance movement, to destroy this law.
