One of the biggest perks of Nintendo Switch Online is being able to enjoy some of the best classics from Nintendo’s past on the hybrid console, including key titles from different systems like Nintendo 64 or handhelds like the iconic Game Boy Advance.
The catalog of this last one has been updated with 3 fascinating games for any platformer fan; the advance trilogy of Super Mario, that is, Super Mario Advance: Super Mario Bros 2, Yoshi’s Island: Super Mario Advance 3 and the cherry on top, Super Mario World: Super Mario Advance 2.
3 classics Super Mario titles from the Game Boy Advance catalog, available through Nintendo Switch Online
These 3 games, which will be available starting May 25, have been confirmed by Nintendo itself, and it has done so with a short announcement of less than 1 minute informing us of their arrival. The announcement is below:
It should be noted that these 3 titles are versions of classics from Super Nintendo, which arrived at their time on Game Boy Advance, becoming jewels of that same catalog, something that happened with other important titles of that handheld, such as the legendary Final Fantasy 6 Advance. We leave you a description of each of the new additions:
- Super Mario Advance: Includes the duo Super Mario Bros. 2 seen on Super Nintendo and the classic Mario Bros, both in one game.
- Super Mario World: Super Mario Advance 2 brings back the classic
- Super Mario World from Super Nintendo, one of the best video games in the entire franchise. This is an improved version, with the possibility of playing using Luigi.
- Yoshi’s Island: Super Mario Advance 3 brings us the first appearance of Baby Mario in this adventure seen on Super Nintendo for the first time, leaving Yoshi as the main protagonist on this occasion.
These titles will be available from the indicated day, and exclusively for users who are subscribed to Nintendo Switch Online + the Expansion Pack. If you are only subscribed to the base subscription, you will not be able to enjoy these titles.
