The first month of the year could not start without new additions to one of Nintendo’s most popular services, and to start this year on the right foot, Nintendo Switch Online has finally announced the arrival of 2 great classic titles of the iconic Game Boy to its service.
And for those who do not know since this service added the long-awaited section of retro or classic games, bringing iconic titles of the best consoles of what for many was the pioneering decade and first step of the Gaming world as we know it today. Fans are eagerly awaiting the new list with the new titles that we will be able to enjoy and this time Golden Sun and its sequel, Golden Sun: The Lost Age are preparing their arrival to the service.
Nintendo Switch Online adds 2 great classics of the iconic Game Boy to its catalog
Through a promotional video on Nintendo’s X account was announced the arrival of these great titles to the already extensive catalog of Nintendo Switch Online, these 2 iconic titles were first announced during the month of February last year, but almost a year passed without any news about their arrival to the service.
But now it is more than confirmed that both titles that in their time came out exclusively for the Game Boy Advance and are part of a successful series of 3 titles with aspirations of becoming Nintendo Switch, but unfortunately the last installment of this series, Golden Sun: Dark Dawn unfortunately failed to meet the expectations placed on it, so despite the constant requests from fans for a new installment, Nintendo does not seem to be interested in giving it another chance.
The iconic Golden Sun and Golden Sun: The Lost Age will arrive to the Nintendo Switch Online catalog and you can enjoy them in their entirety from January 17, below you can read a brief summary of each one:

Join Felix and his crew, and embark on a mission to restore Alchemy to the world, a catastrophe that the characters of the original adventure were trying to prevent.
In case you weren’t aware, the Nintendo Switch Online service was launched on September 18, 2018 and despite its ups and downs it has been improving throughout this half-decade and a bit more, with lots of new and added content that gradually justified its high price tag. Things calmed down almost entirely with the arrival of Expansion Pack that includes a list of the most iconic games from classic consoles like the Game Boy, Nintendo NES, Wii U among others. In addition to several DLC of new and old titles that make it an attractive service if we are looking to remember fragments of our childhood.
