The popular collaboration between the game NIKKE: The Goddess of Victory and the great anime series Neon Genesis Evangelion, is just a few days away and will bring a new set of content to the game and main characters from the series. But also as part of the collaboration it was announced that it will include the addition of a long awaited character, Misato Katsuragi, which will also be free. On August 22, the game The Goddess of Victory NIKKE, will carry out a new update that will celebrate the collaboration with the anime series Neon Genesis Evangelion. During this period, the title will be temporarily offline due to scheduled maintenance, meaning that players will not be able to access their games or participate in events for a few hours.
In addition to the update date, on NIKKE’s official Twitter/X, the introduction of Misato Katsuragi, a character beloved by fans of the anime, was unveiled through a post. Misato, who is known for her key role in the series as the strategist and leader of the EVA pilot team, will join the NIKKE universe as an SR (Super Rare) class character. This collaboration will not only bring Misato Katsuragi to the game, but it will do so for free, with fans having to complete a few missions in order to acquire her on their account.
The introduction of Misato to this collaboration in NIKKE’s game, generated a great surprise and joy to the fans of the series, and in the publication many showed their different opinions: most expressed their astonishment to see the “waifu”, since it was believed that she would not enter as a playable character, others were grateful for this great news, since for many Misato is one of their best characters of the Evangelion series. Finally, some also showed discontent for the reason that she deserved to be an SSR character and not SR, as she was introduced.
