The popular free-to-play role-playing game born from the successful NieR franchise, NieR Re[in]carnation had the baton raised high due to the great popularity of its predecessors, guaranteeing it to be the focus of attention even without being on the market yet. The success of this title after its release in Japan was such that the developer, Applibot released a global version just 5 months later, which quickly became a favorite of the community by presenting a completely new story without losing the essence of the franchise.
The end of a great one, NieR Re[in]carnation to cease worldwide services this year
Sadly, and despite its continued popularity, NieR Re[in]carnation is preparing to say goodbye after almost 3 years of good service to gamers around the world. The announcement of the imminent end of NieR Re[in]carnation came from the company, Square Enix and the developer, Applibot, who through a publication in the official X account of the game, sent the bad news to its players. But as a consolation, they also announced that the game will receive more chapters, characters and a lot of brand new content in the remaining 3 months of service.
Imminently, NieR Re[in]carnation will cease its services on April 29th of this year, but before that and from today new content will arrive to the game as if it were a row, since from today until March 28th players can enjoy The People and the World Act II: The Return, a countdown event to complete the story, in which until March 29th, players can get ten free summons per day and have access to complete resistance missions. But it doesn’t end there, as from today until March 28, we will also get ten premium summon tickets simply for logging in daily.
The new variation mission “Blazing Binding Oculus” will be available from January 30 to February 17, followed by “The Cage of Rebirth“, a mission that will be available from February 17 to April 29, in addition to the return of numerous resurrected missions from the past that will also run simultaneously during the end of the NieR Re[in]carnation service.
Looking to retire in style, the rewards continue, as we will also be given weekly gem gifts until April 1, additional campaigns, including the People campaign and the New Chapter World, will be extended until February 4. Increasing the drop rate by 10x for story missions and granting us three 4-star premium summon tickets just for playing, as well as 100 karma stones as a sign-in bonus,
Finishing this long list with it announced that although fans of the global version will not be able to celebrate its third anniversary, in Japan a commemorative event has already started with even more surprises that hopefully will arrive in the coming weeks to the global version, thus giving all of itself and saying goodbye forever in April.
