And it is that this object is not only surprising for its rarity, but the monetary value it possesses is also very surprising, as it significantly exceeds one million yen. Kaori also learned about the exorbitant price of the antique on a television program, so several images were shared on the networks.

Kaori Maeda, participated in the special program of “Nandemo Appraisal Group”, more precisely in the product appraisal section. There she asked for an appraisal of a 600,000 yen Buddha head that her grandfather had bought in Afghanistan, apparently the figure that Maeda owns had not been shown since the death of her grandfather, she said: “My father took it out of the closet and this is the first time I see it face to face”. The seiyuu’s surprise was great when she learned that the valuation for the figure is 2 million yen.
Even the director of the Hayashibara Art Museum Kazuhisa Tani, came out to say the following: “It is definitely authentic. There is a Buddhist site called Hadda in southeastern Afghanistan. It’s a unique Buddha head in that area,” he added, “It dates from around the 3rd century: it’s an extremely valuable piece of equipment.” Of course, Kaori Maeda did not miss the opportunity to say a few words “I want to express my gratitude to my grandfather in heaven” was what he said.

It’s amazing how something said treasure was an inheritance from her beloved grandfather, this whole situation seems like something out of a movie, where the grandfather passes away and the granddaughter finds a strange figure that had been hidden for a long time and it turns out that this artifact was actually a figure with immense value.
And to think that this piece was kept in a closet, it is strange to think that if that figure had not been taken out and valued, no one would know the immense value it has.
