Fans of visual novels and the acclaimed Grisaia saga are about to receive a new game, with an increase in graphics: Grisaia Remastered, which comes to remaster not only the resolution from HD 720p to Full HD 1080p, but also promises a more immersive audiovisual experience thanks to the improvement of the openings and other visual elements. This remastering will serve to relive the Mihama Academy stories in a new quality.
Grisaia Remastered a remastering of the original trilogy
The official website of Grisaia Remastered has revealed the details of this long-awaited remastering, which will include the six main titles of the saga and its spin-offs. Thanks to this remastering, fans will once again be able to enjoy the touching stories of love and friendship of the Mihama Academy characters with an increase in resolution and more striking colors. The games are currently in HD quality, i.e. 720p, and with this remastering they will be in Full HD 1080p, with an improvement in quality for more modern monitors and screens.
The Grisaia series, known for its intense plots and deep characters, will be updated with the arrival of Grisaia Remastered, this remastering includes the three main installments of the series: Grisaia no Kajitsu (The Fruit of Grisaia), Grisaia no Meikyuu (The Labyrinth of Grisaia) and Grisaia no Rakuen (The Eden of Grisaia), in addition, the spin-offs Grisaia no Yuukan (The Leisure of Grisaia), Grisaia no Zankou (The Afterglow of Grisaia) and Grisaia no Senritsu (The Melody of Grisaia) will also receive similar treatment.
Not only will the games in Grisaia Remastered be upgraded to Full HD 1080p, but the opening, much appreciated by fans, will also be remastered. Also, the sale of this new release will be offered in two versions: a Standard Edition and a Special Edition with Dakimakura.
As for the content of the versions, the standard edition of Grisaia Remastered will contain: the DVD of the three main video games which in turn will be divided into 2 for each of the titles and the spin-offs that will come in the same way, but in this case in a single CD each and 5 music CDs plus one in the form of DVD with the same content. And finally, to complete the collection that will come with the standard version we have a personalized acrylic stand plus 3 mini Shikishi signed with different styles.
For its part the special edition will bring the same content as the standard version, but will also add to its content a lot of products that all fans of the franchise can continue to increase their collection, in this case composed of: a dakimakura of Amane Suou showing her in a position of the most “whimsical” along with a Drama CD of Amane Suou called “H♡CD of love with sister Amane and little Yuuji”. In addition to the editions and as a pre-order gift, a Shikishi with watercolor style design featuring Amane and Ichihime’s smiles will be offered.
The Grisaia Remastered game will be released exclusively in Japanese for Windows 10 and 11, the Standard Edition will cost ¥27,280 yen (about $191 USD), while the Dakimakura Edition will retail for ¥40,480 yen (about $284 USD). The release date is scheduled for November 29 this year.
