Naruto is a work that is already considered a classic within the anime industry, it has characters that are in the minds and hearts of its fans, its music is well known, it has scenes that have been parodied and also has scenes that have marked an entire generation and simply will not disappear from our minds.

It is known that audiovisual works, generally due to the group to which they are directed, may have certain censorship that differentiates them from the source material. Such is the case of Naruto, whose anime work has shared with us memorable moments, but somewhat different from the manga, one of those cases is that of a scene that has Shikamaru as the protagonist and the genjutsu “Demon flute: ghost chains of sound”.
In the first image of Naruto shared by Twitter user “@i_shawonn_” we can observe Shikamaru being victim of the fearsome genjutsu coming from a ninja of the sound village. In the image we can see how this attack begins to melt his body, it happens to be more specific, it begins to melt his skin, Shikamaru is at the mercy of the genjutsu that immobilizes his body, endless ropes keep Shikamaru in place plus the hallucinations begin to tire him mentally.
The second image of Naruto that is already about the anime we can observe practically the same, except that the hallucinations suffered by the attack are less explicit, here we can see how Shikamaru’s arm begins to melt, it seems that his body begins to become a mass, lacking bone to hold it.
Naruto has been one of the many works that have received some changes in order to adapt and reach a larger number of people in a wider age range. It is well known that on paper censorship is less demanding, such is the case of Naruto manga, although the scenes have received slight changes, these are not so abrupt, if you have read the manga you will realize them.
The images we just saw of Naruto are a clear example of how censorship can be done without affecting the original work. In essence the attack scene of the sound ninja attacking Shikamaru is the same, at no time is the intention lost or completely changed, simply a slight change was made so that as I mentioned before, the work will reach a wider audience.
