These are the characters who lost their lives in My Hero Academia

Boku No Hero Academia Midnight Scaled

Throughout the history of My Hero Academia, fans were fortunate to live some of the moments that will be remembered for many years in the world of anime, but as expected in this type of stories, not everything is rosy. And in these seven seasons of My Hero Academia, we were inevitably going to see the loss of many characters, some with less weight, while other faces very recognized and loved by fans. That is why now we bring you all the deaths that happened throughout the anime, waiting for the release of the last season, which will confirm all deaths:

Nana Shimura

My Hero Academia: Estas Son Todas Las Muertes En El Anime Hasta El Momento

The first loss in the world of My Hero Academia came from the hand of Nana Shimura, the seventh user of One For All and the mentor of All Might himself, one of the most emblematic figures of the whole work in general. Her death was at the hands of All For One, being that in a battle he ended her life and where Shimura could not fight with all her power, since at that moment she had given it to All Might, so All For One did not have many complications to eliminate her. His death was confirmed in chapter number 31 of My Hero Academia.

Water Hose

My Hero Academia: Estas Son Todas Las Muertes En El Anime Hasta El Momento

In this case the death of this duo of heroes was given in the form of flashback, being that the story of both is told, since they are the parents of Kota, a boy who hates everything related to heroism. Deku is the one who knows the story of the tragic loss of his parents, who were killed by Muscular, a villain whom the same protagonist of My Hero Academia would end up defeating. The death of the Water Hose duo occurs in chapter 41.

Kenji Hikiishi (Magne)

My Hero Academia: Estas Son Todas Las Muertes En El Anime Hasta El Momento

Magne is one of the strongest deaths that can be seen in My Hero Academia, being that she was killed by Overhaul, one of the most powerful enemies that our heroes had to battle, but with the particularity that Magne was a villain belonging to the League of Villains of Tomura. That is why in this case we can talk about one villain killing another, even being this in a first encounter where Magne noticed the evil in Overhaul and wanted to put him in, to be eliminated on the spot. His death occurred in episode number 65 of the anime.

Sajin Higawara (Sand Hero: Snatch)

My Hero Academia: Estas Son Todas Las Muertes En El Anime Hasta El Momento

After the victory of our heroes against Overhaul, this villain was escorted in several vehicles to the special prison for villains: Tartarus, a facility specially prepared to contain the strongest villains with the worst track record of all. But halfway through the journey they were attacked by the League of Villains, who sought revenge on Overhaul for what happened episodes ago, it is at that moment when Sand Hero: Snatch goes into battle, and although he defends himself very well at first, when Dabi and Mr. Compress enter the battle, his end is marked. The death of Sand Hero: Snatch occurs in chapter 77 of the anime.

Mirai Sasaki (Sir Nighteye)

My Hero Academia: Estas Son Todas Las Muertes En El Anime Hasta El Momento

Another of the biggest losses in the universe of My Hero Academia was that of Mirai Sasaki (Sir Nighteye), and it was not only tragic because of the situation in which he left, but also because he had a strong connection with several important characters, such as All Might, Mirio Togata and Deku himself. Sir Nighteye died after receiving a large number of lethal blows in the battle against Overhaul, resulting in his death in episode 77 in a hospital bed.

Jin Bubaigawara (Twice)

My Hero Academia: Estas Son Todas Las Muertes En El Anime Hasta El Momento

Another of the significant deaths that occurred in My Hero Academia was that of the member of the League of Villains Twice, and in this case the villain died at the hands of Hawks, in what would mean that a hero killed a villain and that shocked the fans to see this kind of situation. Twice died of a stab in the back by Hawks, who had infiltrated the League of Villains to obtain information, in chapter 116 of the anime.

Shield Hero: Crust

My Hero Academia: Estas Son Todas Las Muertes En El Anime Hasta El Momento

During the attack on the hideout where Tomura Shigaraki was gathering more power to unleash one hundred percent of his abilities, several characters lost their lives, and one of them was Shield Hero: Crust, who could not escape from the great explosion of power that Shigaraki himself performed, dying when he sacrificed himself and his companions escaped. The death of Shield Hero: Crust occurred in chapter 118 of the anime.

Eye-Gun Hero: X-Less

My Hero Academia: Estas Son Todas Las Muertes En El Anime Hasta El Momento

Another of the heroes we could see leaving in the same episode number 118 was Eye-Gun Hero: X-Less, who met first hand with a newly reanimated Shigaraki who wasted no time in snatching his life in a scene that shocked more than one, especially demonstrating how powerful this villain would be from now on. During the “first final battle” several heroes lost their lives, but at least those who were named were Shield Hero: Crust and Eye-Gun Hero: X-Less.

Nemuri Kayama (Midnight)

My Hero Academia: Estas Son Todas Las Muertes En El Anime Hasta El Momento

Undoubtedly, another of the deaths that impacted not only the fans of My Hero Academia, but also the characters themselves in the show, who were able to see firsthand the loss of a partner and mentor, understanding by force that the job of a hero is not a pretty one. Midnight tragically lost her life after the incredible fight against Gigantomachia, from which she was badly wounded, so much so that a horde of villains attacked her to finally die in chapter 120 of My Hero Academia.

Cathleen Bate (Star and Stripe)

My Hero Academia: Estas Son Todas Las Muertes En El Anime Hasta El Momento

The passage of Star and Stripe within the history of My Hero Academia for many was ephemeral, but too important, being that possessing one of the strongest Gifts of all was not enough to stop a Tomura Shigaraki that was at its maximum power. Although Star and Stripe could not defeat the villain, he left us one of the best battles against this enemy and demonstrating that his power could have avoided the last great battle, but in the end, and in chapter 140, Star and Stripe was defeated and reduced to dust.

Katsuki Bakugo

My Hero Academia: Uno De Los Momentos Más Emotivos Se Hizo Realidad En El Anime

Bakugo’s death was one of the last that My Hero Academia left us, and as expected, it was one of the most shocking to the fans, if not the most important of all, since this character is not only one of the most popular, but his weight in the plot was total. During the final battle against Tomura Shigaraki, Bakugo is seriously wounded, to the point that his heart stops beating, in a scene that shocked and moved everyone, especially when seeing All Might’s letter next to his inert body. Bakugo’s death occurred in chapter 149.

Gigantomachia

My Hero Academia: Estas Son Todas Las Muertes En El Anime Hasta El Momento

Gigantomachia was one of the strongest and almost impossible to defeat villains that our heroes had to battle, but his death came from the most unexpected person of all: One For All, the master he followed like a God and who fulfilled any kind of request he had, decided to eliminate him after Gigantomachia began to doubt his master and reproach him for everything he had gone through. Gigantomachia’s death occurred in chapter 156.

Himiko Toga

My Hero Academia: Estas Son Todas Las Muertes En El Anime Hasta El Momento

And the last death, but by no means less important in the anime of My Hero Academia, was that of Himiko Toga. The villain who made all the fans fall in love with her and who had very high popularity ratings, who in the last chapters of season 7 lost her life, although in this case with a small case of heroism. The villain sacrificed herself with a blood transfusion to a badly wounded Uraraka in one of the most emotional and best scenes of the anime, which took place in chapter 159.

These were the deaths that could be seen in the anime of My Hero Academia so far if we take into account that there are 7 seasons of the series available. Now we will have to wait for the release of season 8 during the year 2025 to find out if more characters will be added to this list.
