My Hero Academia is back thanks to Overwatch 2

A few weeks ago the manga of My Hero Academia (Boku no Hero Academia) ended the story of Deku on his way to be the number 1 hero, and although the anime is still in broadcast adapting the final battle and one of the most important moments of the whole work, fans want to have more content. That is why for them a collaboration was announced that surprised, but above all fascinated a lot of fans, and is that several of the recognized characters of the story will come to the game Overwatch 2 and they presented it with an exciting video.

Through its different social networks, the popular video game Overwatch 2 presented the new skins that will be arriving in a few weeks to the game and that surprised anime fans, since the protagonists are several of the recognized characters of My Hero Academia (Boku no Hero Academia). And is that among the new outfits for the heroes of Blizzard’s shooter we find the names of: Izuku Midoriya, Ochako Uraraka, All Might, Tomura Shigaraki and Himiko Toga, being that the collaboration will begin next October 17 and will run until the 30th of the same month.

Although these outfits we mentioned will only be available for designated Overwatch 2 heroes: Deku’s skin will be used by the beloved Tracer, Reinhardt will be All Might, Yuno will wear Uraraka’s outfit, one of the most beloved girls of all, Himiko Toga, in this case will lend her clothes to Kiriko and finally Reaper will be Shigariki, one of the main villains of the game. In addition, it is expected that a good amount of cosmetic items themed to the work will be available for purchase, such as weapon charms or personalized stickers.

Similarly, the arrival of this new collaboration excited all fans not only of My Hero Academia, but also Overwatch fans, since the union between these two franchises is more than right because the concept of “heroes” is very present in each of them in their own way. In addition, thanks to the launch of this union, there were several who took the opportunity to ask for new characters from the world of anime to come to the game, and is that both have a lot of heroes that can be joined, so this may be the beginning of many collaborations, now we will only have to wait for new news.

Finally, we must remember that this collaboration comes while My Hero Academia is living one of the most important moments in its history, first with the manga, which ended a few weeks ago, but is still being commented in the networks, since this work is one of the most beloved of all. And, on the other hand, we have the anime, which is also in the final stretch, adapting in this case the last battle, which week by week of release is leaving more excited fans to know how this important story concludes for the world of manga and anime.
