A few weeks ago the manga of one of the most important works of recent years, My Hero Academia (Boku no Hero Academia) ended, and as expected, it had a great stir in social networks, especially by the same fans who showed their emotions about the outcome.
And one of the most talked about points, which sparked debate and divided the community, was to know definitively what was the status of the relationship between two of the most important characters: Izuku “Deku” Midoriya and Ochako Uraraka, since originally this question was left without an answer, at least until now thanks to the extra content of the final volume. A few weeks after its official ending, fans of My Hero Academia (Boku no Hero Academia) were still waiting for the 40-page extra epilogue chapter that was going to be presented, and it finally arrived and answered one of the most awaited questions by everyone. In this case, what the fans needed was to know how the relationship between Deku and Uraraka ended, since in the first ending there were only doubts because they did not see them relating in a direct and personal way.
As can be seen in the same images shared officially, not only is it confirmed that the two really ended the story together, but there are several panels and scenes that give us account of this, including the “return” of Himiko Toga, who spiritually helps Uraraka to take the step. With this we can finally say that My Hero Academia ended with both characters together, and although many were happy about this ending, there are also a lot of people against it, so the networks are in constant debate.
Those who support what was shown in the extra content are happy in the first place, as they believed that the relationship between the two, although not originally confirmed, was already assured and that the author of My Hero Academia, Kōhei Horikoshi, decided to give them these panels was the perfect closure. On the other hand, the most detractors, not only were unhappy to see the relationship between Deku and Uraraka, but they were also annoyed that what should be the “ultimate show of love” between the two was only given with a handshake, which generates more doubts than certainties.
Whatever the opinion of the fans, this would be the definitive end of My Hero Academia, solving one of the biggest unknowns as it was the relationship between these two characters and giving total closure to one of the most important series of recent years in the world of manga and anime. Although this is not all that My Hero Academia has to offer, since the same anime still has to adapt the last part of the manga, so we will have to wait for the premiere date to be confirmed, which will be sometime in 2025 and see how they work the ending, as well as this extra chapter.
