The official media of the renowned Japanese publisher “Shueisha” has surprised fans of the successful shonen genre multimedia franchise “My Hero Academia” (Boku no Hero Academia) by presenting the official cover of the 40th compilation volume of the original manga written and illustrated by Kouhei Horikoshi.
According to the information presented on the official website of the Japanese publisher “Shueisha” this new volume of the manga “My Hero Academia” is scheduled to be released for sale in bookstores in Japan on April 4 of this year, will contain a total of 200 pages and will be available at a price of 528 yen.
My Hero Academia unveiled the stunning official cover of its 40th volume
“My Hero Academia“, also known as “Boku no Hero Academia” in Japan, is an action shonen manga that is written and illustrated by Kouhei Horikoshi. The work made its debut in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in July 2014. Currently, Shueisha Publishing has published 39 compilation volumes of the My Hero Academia manga.
The anime adaptation of Kouhei Horikoshi’s manga premiered on April 3, 2016 and has experienced remarkable public acclaim. This adaptation consists of six seasons, totaling 138 episodes, in addition to three movies and four OVAs. The series is produced by the animation studio BONES. For the enjoyment of viewers, the series is available legally on the Crunchyroll platform and is dubbed in English.
It is worth noting that the anime series “My Hero Academia” will have a seventh season and a new original movie. The new season of the anime is scheduled to premiere in Japan on May 4 of this year, while the new movie will be released on August 2 of this year.
“My Hero Academia” presents us with a universe where superpowers, known as “quirks,” are part of everyday life. In this world, approximately 80% of the population has developed special abilities, leading to the emergence of heroes and villains who fight for balance and justice.
