My Hero Academia is a work that enjoys great popularity among the otakus nowadays, because it has given us many funny moments, as well as a very good plot that is quite enjoyable, as well as action scenes worthy of a Shonen that remains at the top in recent years, within the story we can highlight the wide variety of characters with which it has, each and every one of them with a weight impórtate for the development of the plot, but in particular there is a character that has always caused mystery and every time we are presented certainly causes much commotion, we talk about Tōru Hagakure.
Tōru and Kohei cause controversy among My Hero Academia fans
As we know, the last leak of the most recent chapter of My Hero Academia showed us again Tōru Hagakure also known as Invisible Girl, but in a way that many fans did not like at all, because in X previously Twitter within the trends #MHA400 the fans accused the author of the work of abusing the fan service in our invisible girl, to the point of even calling him a “p3dophile” here we must make a parenthesis due to the fact that Tōru has a particularity in its design and that being invisible we have always been shown her combat costume as floating gloves and boots as well as her uniform in the same way.
A situation that at first seemed something curious, but that fans of My Hero Academia did not end up liking with the passage of time, since the author in the official illustrations where we see Tōru visibly has always presented us naked, this ended up exploding in the face of the author where in forums and networks we can find comments like these, “Certainly Horikoshi is disgusting. We are in the middle of the climax of the main war and he decides to put fan service in our faces”, “Someone tell Horikoshi that it is not normal to sexualize teenage girls”.
Even some in an ironic tone mentioned that “All manga authors should have stepped in jail at some point in their lives,” to the most serious and risqué accusations, such as the one we can read below, “What the fuck is this? Why is a 36-year-old author drawing a 16-year-old girl this way? Is Horikoshi a fucking p3dophile?”
There were also a few more attacks on the author of My Hero Academia and his current health condition, both physically and mentally, “Is the author a wanker? Yes. Does he draw pretty well? Yes. But those t3tas are not of a sixteen or seventeen year old teenager.”, “This Horikoshi bastard is doing fewer and fewer pages of the manga because of his health problems, and he decided it was a priority to dedicate a whole page to show Invisible Girl naked. He’s certainly got problems, the fucker.”
My Hero Academia is undoubtedly a work that will continue to give us a lot to talk about, either for its fantastic plot or for the author who we see is not having a good time thanks to the fandom of his work, let’s hope that this situation does not escalate and we can continue to enjoy the magnificent quality that he delivers in his manga.
