My Dress-Up Darling live action is adapting what will be seen in the second season of the anime.
Through its social networks, the live action adaptation of one of the most representative works of recent years, My Dress-Up Darling (Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo suru), shared what will be the scenes of its next chapter, with something that caught the attention of fans. In this chapter we can see that this adaptation is in the arc that corresponds to the second season of the anime, which has not yet been officially announced, but we know thanks to the manga that Marin Kitagawa and Wakana Gojo will live next.
During this section of My Dress-Up Darling we meet, among other things, Chitose Amano, also known as Amane Himeno, a name he uses to perform cosplays like Marin and that, being a man, is dedicated to a greater extent to representations of female characters. Even in these chapters of the live action that have already been adapted, we not only know his story, but also how his girlfriend got to know this side of his life and threw his costumes in the trash, in addition to the fact that Gojo himself was affected by what Amano experienced.
All these scenes, which are already available in the live action, would be part of the second season of the My Dress-Up Darling anime, so those who are not following the manga and who had seen the anime, spoiled about what will come in the future and commented on the networks. Likewise, they were surprised by how well done the scenes are, being that the live action of My Dress-Up Darling, although it was criticized at the time, with these last chapters has managed to live up to expectations.
My Dress-Up Darling (Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru) follows the story of Wakana Gojo, a withdrawn young man who lives alone in his world focused on traditional hina dolls, having never made friends for fear that they know his hobby and reject them, but there is someone who discovers his talent when it comes to making clothes. Marin Kitagawa, the prettiest and most popular girl in school, sees him working in the school’s sewing room. Gojo, believing that she would make fun of him, tries not to have contact, but now he discovers Marin’s secret: she is a cosplay lover.
Although apparently the girl does not have any talent to make the clothes of her favorite characters, so seeing how the young man develops, he decides to ask her for help to be his personal “tailor”, thus joining forces between the two, being that now Gojo will have his “real hina doll”. In this story we will see how the two work together on all kinds of projects, but something more than a friendship will be forged, since the feelings between the two begin to grow more and more.
