Recently, through his personal account on “X” before Twitter, George Morikawa (@WANPOWANWAN) author of the manga called “Hajime no Ippo” shared his opinion after watching the first chapter of “My Deer Friend Nokotan”. In the post, the famed mangaka wrote that this work left him simply “stunned” and of which he had not understood anything. “After watching the first episode, I was stunned. No, I was stunned even while I was watching it.
I don’t know what to say – what is this?!”. A sentiment that has been shared by most fans on social media, as everyone who has watched the anime has been simply speechless.
George Morikawa also wrote a second post where he developed a little more this feeling of strange sensation when watching this anime and where he commented that although he did not dislike the series at all, it was something that he still did not fully understand, but it was quite interesting. This to such a degree that he looked for the work and started reading the volumes that had already been released. As expected, this post became very popular among fans in Japan, where fans also expressed their opinion about this first chapter of “My Deer Friend Nokotan“.
