In the last few hours, anime fans have been pleasantly surprised, since the premiere date of “My Deer Friend Nokotan” (Shikanoko Nokonoko Koshitantan) has finally been revealed, as well as the second preview of the anime and with it the arrival of a “deer waifu” that has already captivated the entire internet immediately. This is due to its crazy style, but also for some scenes full of comedy and action that has aroused the curiosity of anime fans to know what this new story will be about.
Evidently this is not all, since a small part of the song that will be part of the opening of “My Deer Friend Nokotan” is causing a furor among all fans of otaku culture, both on Twitter/X, Facebook and YouTube. The catchy rhythm along with the peculiar frame that is shown in loop within the scene has led this series to be in the center of attention of all fans on the internet.

It turns out that a few hours after the second preview and the release date of “My Deer Friend Nokotan” (Shikanoko Nokonoko Koshitantan) was made official, Twin Engine, producer of the series, released an extensive 1-hour video showing the catchiest and most rhythmic part of the opening. The video shows a looping scene where Noko Shikanoko aka “Noko-tan” is in her deer form while Torako Koshi dances in a very funny, cute, peculiar way and sings the phrase “Shikanoko Nokonoko Koshitantan” on a stage full of lights in an idol concert style.
This peculiar video has caused a stir on social networks, where fans have commented that they loved the rhythm and animation of the clip, but especially the dance that Torako Koshi stars in. In this sense, they have also pointed out that the anime promises many crazy situations and many laughs, as the fact that a deer is in the middle of the scene, along with the scenes shown in the preview of “My Deer Friend Nokotan” are proof of this.
“My Deer Friend Nokotan” is a manga of comedy, fantasy and recounts of the life of the author “Oshioshio” who is in charge of the plot and illustrations, whose serialization as well as publication began on November 15, 2019 in the magazine “Shōnen Magazine Edge” under the seal of the Kodansha publishing house. Currently, the manga has 4 compilation volumes, on March 13, 2024 it was announced that the work would have an anime adaptation whose production is in charge of Wit Studio and Twin Engine, dating its premiere for the summer season, more specifically on July 7, 2024.
“My Deer Friend Nokotan” (Shikanoko Nokonoko Koshitantan), tells the story of Noko Shikanoko, a half-human, half-deer hybrid girl, who one day arrives to shake up the “peaceful” lives of high school students Taroko Koshi and Anko Koshi, who are trying to leave behind their rebellious and conflictive past. Unfortunately, for them the peculiar encounter they will have with “Noko-tan” will frustrate all their plans to lead a normal school life, so they are involved in a spiral of events that will unleash many moments full of laughter in the fans of the anime.
