With each new week, Mushoku Tensei (Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reencarnation) is giving a lot to talk about in social networks, being that its new episodes never go unnoticed, either by presenting epic moments or a lot of fanservice, but in this case the story touched a very emotional and critical point with one of the characters. But apparently, many fans were not at all happy with the fact, so much so that the author of the work, Rifujin na Magonote, had to respond with a tweet, giving his opinion about what happened and his feelings. WARNING! this note contains spoilers about Mushoku Tensei.
Rifujin na Magonote, creator of Mushoku Tensei, comes out to talk about the latest episode
This Sunday, Mushoku Tensei released its most recent chapter called “Fathers”, a more than appropriate title for this day, since many parts of the world are celebrating Father’s Day, but more than a celebration, in this episode we would have the death of Paul Greyrat, Rudeus‘ father. As expected, the fans in the networks echoed the fact and did not take long to give their messages, so much the commotion caused, that the author himself, Rifujin na Magonote, had to come out to comment on the fact.
Through his official Twitter/X, the author of Mushoku Tensei published a tweet in which he mentioned his feelings before the most recent chapter, commenting how many people mentioned how he has no heart to eliminate such a beloved character on such a special day, but that it did not really affect him. Rifujin na Magonote commented how he was not only unaffected, but was overly happy, as seeing part of his work, in which he put so much effort into writing, be reflected in an animation of the highest quality, was enough for all the negativity received to be taken in the best possible way.
Upon seeing this, many fans came out to support the author, especially those who saw this moment as one of the best and most important that Mushoku Tensei had in its history, so they were also grateful for the audacity he had to write this scene at the time. In addition, the most veterans who knew what was coming, also supported the mangaka, being that they have the same thought of this one to see such an important scene animated with the quality it deserves. Others also took it to the comic side, mentioning how the character development was not only for Rudeus, but also for the viewer.
Mushoku Tensei presents us with the classic isekai story where our protagonist loses his life in our world to be transported to a fantasy kingdom where wizards, knights and all kinds of beings coexist, but in this case it will have a special spice. Here we will meet Rudeus Greyrat, who in his past life was a sad 34-year-old man, but when he arrives to this new world, he does it as a baby, keeping the memories of his past life, with this in mind, he must now adapt to the mind of an adult in the body of a boy.
With his knowledge, the protagonist of Mushoku Tensei quickly adapts to his new life, becoming a talented magician, but also seeks to become an equally skilled swordsman, so his potential is only limited to what he wants. Given a new opportunity to change his life, Rudeus will do everything he can to find what he lacked in the past, including his greatest desire: to fall in love.
