Mortal Kombat 1: New game shows trailer and release date

Mortal Kombat 1 is official, and we are closer to its premiere than we expected; Warnes Bros. Games has announced this new installment of the long-running fighting saga Mortal Kombat, a true veteran and icon of the genre like Tekken or Street Fighter.

They have warned that this installment will be a turning point in the franchise after what we saw in Mortal Kombat 11 and its impressive Story mode; the new video game will be a reboot that looks back at the past, but also promises to be the beginning of a new era.

Mortal Kombat 1, the reboot of an iconic saga

The new game will bring a new universe and new gameplay mechanics: The game will be on sale on September 19 of this year, and has decided to show itself in all its splendor with the following trailer:

The spectacular trailer already shows us some graphics we can also see characters like Scorpio or Sub Zero, the most emblematic of the saga, but also has the presence of Mileena or Kung Lao, among others. Shang Tsung is another character confirmed for the game.

We also have confirmation that there will be new game modes, among other novelties; being a reboot, NetherRealm Studios has the possibility to delight us again with a story mode of great quality and complexity as it did in Mortal Kombat 11 and the Injustice games. The trailer already makes us guess it, prioritizing the narrative and the staging.

Mortal Kombat 1 has also confirmed that it will have a version for Nintendo Switch, in addition, it will be present on PC and on Playstation 5 and Xbox Series consoles.
