Today’s Nintendo Direct has left us with many surprises quite strong, among them is the first glimpse of one of the most anticipated games: Metroid Prime 4, the fourth numbered installment of the Metroid Prime saga makes its triumphant debut before thousands of fans and viewers who were attentive to the transmission of one of the best Nintendo Directs held by the Japanese company.
Metroid Prime 4 breaks the internet thanks to its reveal trailer
Metroid Prime 4 has been involved in much controversy since its first announcement in 2017, when Nintendo only revealed a presentation trailer in which we saw a logo with the name of the game and the characteristic symbol of the Prime saga. Since then its development has been quite doubtful by many of the fans, as we remember that in 2019 a communicative video was made in which Shinya Takahashi appears explaining that the development of this title would be restarted to ensure an experience at the height and quality of the games that Nintendo has.
Today during the Nintendo Direct a spectacular trailer for Metroid Prime 4 was presented, which has left the entire internet with hype sky high, as we see that the long wait has been totally worth it. In this we are presented with a scenario which a priori has the main protagonist Samus and her ship which we see that still retains from Metroid Prime 3, in the background we see a planet that is being attacked and in which a huge war breaks out.
Samus returns to action with her unmistakable Varia Suit suit that we see in this incredible Prime saga, her new mission and destination were not yet revealed in the first teaser trailer. But we are sure that throughout 2024 videos and information about this new destination Samus must go to in order to stop Sylux will be revealed. Undoubtedly this will be one of those adventures that all fans will remember for the rest of their lives and also this will be a Metroid game that many of the new generations will want to play.
This new installment has shown us little with the presentation trailer, but it has been appealing enough for fans of the Japanese company to have a great show ahead. On this occasion, as well as in the 2017 direct, Nintendo has certainly been the focus of attention by many gamers, plus the announcements they showed before unveiling Metroid Prime 4 have been quite powerful.
Undoubtedly we look forward to 2025 to get our hands on the fourth numbered installment of Metroid and especially to see the new Nintendo console. Although it is expected that this installment will be Cross Gen, the details of whether this game will have a multiplayer included as in Metroid Prime 2 are not yet known, but no doubt this announcement will take many weeks before it disappears from the internet and from the mouths of all fans.
