During the PlayStation Stay Of Play on 12 February, a new trailer for the highly anticipated METAL GEAR SOLID Δ: SNAKE EATER video game was revealed, confirming that the game will be released on 28 August. It should be noted that the game will be available for Playstation, Xbox, PC.
It is important to note that METAL GEAR SOLID Δ: SNAKE EATER is a remake of the iconic Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater video game, originally released in 2004 on the Playstation 2 console. But that’s not all, as the Digital Deluxe Edition has been confirmed to include the DLC Stealth Pack, which grants players multiple outfits and equipment to infiltrate enemy lines. It also grants 48 hours early access before the game’s official release.
A statement shared by Konami also notes that the physical versions of the ‘Tactical’ Day 1 Edition also include the Stealth Pack DLC elements and Snake’s white dinner jacket as an early purchase bonus.
The collector’s edition of the game will include a miniature terrarium inspired by the legendary scene at the start of the Virtuous Mission, where Naked Snake must retrieve his backpack trapped on a tree branch. That’s not all, though, as it also includes a Naked Snake mini-figure and a tree stump with the backpack dangling from it.
Other items also include a recreation of the fake ID Naked Snake uses to infiltrate Groznyj Grad Northeast as a scientist, a high-quality FOX unit patch, a rubber patch commemorating Naked Snake’s HALO jump, and a metal box with retro artwork from the original video game.
